Ipad and iPhone gem prices different?????

Hello I play on iPad and the prices were fairly ok $20 for 530 gems(I double checked)... And the one for iPhone is like $8 for 20???? And for the same amount 530 gem it's $158????? Is this normal???? Cause I wanted to buy some gems for my friend who is using iPhone 4 and the prices are outrageous! Pleasehelp thanks!!x100000000000

It also depends on the game too. Some games requires more gems to spend, so the prices are cheaper or the amount of gems are more.
Seeing from this, we have different prices.

Yes the prices are all equal If you buy a 24 pack on RS and a 120 pack on metro they are the same price

Oh just realize that my friends iTunes account is from china.. Maybe that's why? So how to purchase it with Canadian dollars if the display is in china dollars?

The prices should all be the same. If someone is in a different country the price amount will appear different due to conversion. But even the conversion it should be the same price in dollars.

This is not exactly the same issue, but I don't know where else to post it. On my wife's ipad, the cost of buying the corporate tower and bowling alley is 80 gems, but on my ipad it is 160 gems. Why is that???

As it relates to the difference in prices for gems from country to country, this thread (http://forums.teamlava.com/showthread.php?31414-Are-you-kidding-me&p=347533#post347533) has some information. It seems that depending on the exchange rate used, Canada has the lowest price for gems and though the price for gems seems to be roughly in the same range, there are differences because of the exchange rate, as may be expected.
