My restaurant is rammed full of tables and chairs, but I think I might have read somewhere that there is a maximum number of customers at any one time.

Can anyone clarify for me

You can have as many seats as you like. As for the post you're talking about the gentleman said only 27 customers at a time can sit an eat.
