Will the olympic themed items(ex.podium cake, pool pie) be gone when the olympics is over?

That's a good question and I'm afraid nobody knows the answer. This is MY guess: the new appliances that you get will remain and so the recipes for them. The new olympic recipes for old appliances will disappear, just like the seasonal stuff - Valentines, Halloween, Christmas - after a while.

No word if these will be seasonal items, but I do suggest that you start working on the receipes and get new appliances built now just in case.
