Breeding gem animals question

Hi I would like to ask a question with regards to breeding gem animals. Eg I bought a French bulldog for 13 gems. Then I bought a mate for another 13 gems. Does it also cost me 13 gems each to breed one baby? Thanks!

Yup, it will cost you another 26 gems for both the babies.
