Bad timing question

I'm fairly new to Dragon Story and I have a problem. My nest is full for several more hours but I went ahead and started breeding, thinking it would take awhile. It's only a three hour wait! When they're done breeding, can I wait a few hours before placing the egg into the nest?

Yes, if you can wait a few hours. Nothing expires in the game, if that's what you're asking. So you can wait as long as you want and the baby won't get sick. :)
