Table, chairs and wallpaper is all I got this week. Hopefully as they add more in the next few weeks it will get better with this new theme.

WHAT KIND OF UPDATE IS THIS?? Honestly That's like unwrapping school clothes for Christmas. Even though it's appreciated, and you say Thankyou, UNTILL you walk out of the room throw the clothes on the floor and have a hissy fit. EXCEPT the difference is THIS company has PLENTY of staff, funds and means of creating fabulous updates. I'm so dissapointed. I'm not even sure it all correlates. It's like they just threw it all together at the last minute. I'm sorry if this has offended any of the staff or those who created this weeks updates but I'm hugely dissapointed. God look at all the fantastic ideas created by all the talented players in that contest- there's the ideas of what we want..

sunstorm01 I know what you mean, I like the picture and the wallpaper but everything together doesn't mesh. I'm wondering if they have so much content that they can flip through their inventory and just pick and choose items to use for updates. I used to think they chose a theme and worked around it but I'm not so sure because last weeks update looked promising like there was a new theme but this one looks like the Idea upchucked. I don't really think any of the items are bad just that if presented within a theme that correlates to each item the reaction would have been more positive. I don't think every week necessarily has to fit into a theme but at least pick items that match. For instance, with the soup bowl art a picture of a bowl of salad or maybe a bottle of wine with red and green grapes, even an olive oil pourer with fresh olives. Food related items in between themes since it is a game about a restaurant. I'd love to see more carts like the cheese cart, something in black and silver, they have chilled drink why not a wine rack. But they won't, they like to see us miffed and passionate. lol

Some update items appeal to some but not to others. I'm glad for any new items/recipes. As for the relative paucity of items I have to say with the hot weather (Canada!) I've been busy with the kids and haven't spent as much time cooking or decorating. Maybe the TL staff are having a bit of vaca time too :-)

I think they're doing a great job.
I don't get on after your posts and say " don't say that". I'm allowed my opinion, that's what an open forum is all about, I don't think that's very helpful. I put A LOT of money into this game, and time and effort- if I have an opinion I should be allowed to express it. Companies DON'T grow without negative feedback. As in life. Trial and error. It's a part of life, we are doing them and the others who think the same about the last few updates a favor. How are they ever going to know if nobody says anything. They may be a company that makes great games but they're not mind readers.

This is a fairly sucky update. During this update I lost gems that I had (went down to 1 - had several more than that and no I didnt buy anything). The game force closes every two seconds when you guys do an update or those 'sales' on gems. I really hate it. Guess its time to review it again with like one star and remove it for good. which sucks, because when it does work. Its actually fun.

I lost some gems aswell accidetly clicking serve food quickly - annoying, the updates are ok but they could be better.
