Need to expand

I have been playing for a for a while now and always expand when it lets me. But it does not let me anymore even if I get the amount of neighbors I need, or make to the level requested. It will come up I can expand at level 50, well i'm there and it will not let me expand it now says level 55 and I know when I reach that level it will be level 60. What is going on? Can someone help me with this please?

For each expansion, you have to have a certain amount of neighbors, and also you have to buy the expansion with coins, so you need enough coins .
what happens when you try to expand?

not sure what you are asking:confused::confused:

There is a issue when you unlock a new appliance that you may have to restart your device to be able to purchase the extra appliance. Is this what you are referring too?

The expansions do not have this issue where you have to restart .

That seems to be what she described. Why would it jump her 5 levels ..... unless she's describing .. she got to 50 neighbors, and now it's asking for 55 neighbors.
