are you collect gold for diamond or just keep breeding and use gold for speeding up

well, occasionally, I DO fall into gold trap when I have saved to around 200 gold.
Like the other players' comment, "not to fall into gold trap is not to have gold!"
So, I spend them to speed up breeding or hatching.

I speed up. Even before I didn't have the diamond, I use it to speed up. I think if I just bought a diamond, it would take all the fun out of the game. Not like there's much left though.....

I'm saving up, already am on 1000 gold so halfway there.
I hope we get some new quests that gives you gold for downloading a game. The games are usually fun so its a win win

I just use it to speed things up. I'll eventually get iTunes giftcards, and when gold goes on sale (if it ever does) I will buy some, and get a diamond. probably use the extra 900 gold to speed things up.

It hurts to parts with my gold XDDDD but I have used a bit of it to speed up those last 2 hours of a breeding or expansion. Mosly I just keep it there though lol IDEK if I'd have the strength to part with it for a Diamond Dragon O.O

I just started playing, and I'm wondering how you earn Gold besides buying it with USD. The only way I discovered so far is to gift it to a neighbor. Is there a way to earn Gold by just playing...? As in, when you have a successful breeding, or when you evolve a dragon...?

I want to save gold to buy a diamond egg. But I receive only two or three golds per day. So...it will take forever to get the eggs.
I also can't catch up with all new dragons. So I don't even have time to try for diamond.

rofl, I got a whole 23 gold right now.....I'm not even dreaming about 2000 gold since I sure as hell won't dish out cash for it. The occasional gift here and there is nice and perhaps a more realistic 250 gold for a more attainable second nest but no more than that. As far as the Diamond Dragon goes.....well....I intend to try very hard to breed one.

I spend my gold on speeding important things up. I FINALLY just bred a diamond dragon. I bred an island dragon on the left and a firestorm on the right for a couple weeks. After a few ****py dragons and some rares ( :D ) I finally got it!
