Why is the food more expensive the longer it takes? Should be the opposite???

Well. It doesn't really. Unless you don't have the time to play.

Deviding the cost with the outcome gives huge differences in cost. And if you multiply the outcome you would get in an hour with how many times you can plant the seeds you will get a great difference in the amou t offood you can produce in one hour. The 30-sec crop is by far the cheapest and the crop that produces the most in one hour, based on you restarting it every 30 seconds.

Huge disappointment that the large farm didn't give any crops with better outcome.
