Help I can't shop?!?

I need to plant but it would seem i can get into the shop but can't select anything once i am in there??? Is anyone else having this problem?

If the game is still active in the background, but the Market menu is not registering your taps, try restarting the app and everything should be okay.

I've tried restarting the app, which hasn't worked? I'll try restarting my device.......
