Can Rare Dragons or higher be bred without epic dragons?

After reading LOTS of posts about Planet, Titan, Wizard etc. breeding, many people said that their dragons were bred with at least one epic dragon with the other dragon being level 7, 6, 5, or 4.
is there anyway to breed these dragons without the help of an epic dragon?
Please post ideas and ways to breed dragons :)

I dont think the level of the dragon you are using really makes much difference. The level is more for coin earning I think. Its all totally random.

Yes, the levels don't really matter. I've seen a few new players who have super rares which they didn't have to breed using epics. It's just a huge slot machine, it's based purely on luck.

I bred my Planet with fire level 8 and magic level 5 and just bred my Atlantis with Water level 7 and Forest level 7.
