NOT!! When are we going to get some consistency in what 2 days or 1 day means?!? So, obviously, Papayas are NOT 2 days. Are they 36 hours??

So...before I plant the new Llima flowers, does anyone know the actual term? It says 1 day, but that could mean anywhere from 18-36 hrs.

Mine shows 36 hrs. I'm on the operating system that knows how to tell time.

Ok...so there's one strike against ios. Our operating system does not know how to tell time correctly. :p

Ah ha! That must be it. It's an iOS problem...NOT! Lol
So, what about the Papaya Trees? 36 hr as well? They say "2-day". They're not as long as the Loquat Tree, which also say 2 day.

Here's my chart again:

Right. I don't see why anyone would be confused.

2 days = 2 days
2 days = 36 hours
1 day = 24 hours
1 day = 36 hours
1 day = 22 hours

There. That should help.

Just follow pinkster's chart and you'll be fine :p

I haven't planted any papaya trees yet so i have no idea what time they take. Nmishii has some out i think. Maybe she'll pop back in and give us the correct answer as shown by her wonderful and perfect time telling operating system. :p

I just harvested some. It's definitely a 1 day 36 hour tree.

Yep, Papayas are 1 day 36 hr trees. I harvest them when I replant my 1 day 36 hr Cosmos.

You both must mean a 2 day 1 day 36 hour tree.

Right. My chart should clarify that.

Well, actually 2 days = 46 hours

Need to clarify this, since there are some people who might think 2 days = 48 hours

Brilliant for picking that up nmishii.

Thanks to ButterPanda for confirming what we all have suspected all along. That 2 day 1 day crops are indeed sometimes 36 hours, but not all the time.

I play FS on an iPhone and some trees/crops used to show the correct time. The candy cane tree used to say 36 hours.

Yes, but because the iOS operating can no longer tell time, the TL games show the incorrect time.

It's an issue with the operating system. 36 hour crops will display correctly in Android versions, but will show up as 2 days in iOS versions.

This must have been way before the operating system rebellion took place. After the ios rebellion those of us who play on the rebellious ios were confused about what 2 days & 1 day really meant until the mods cleared it all up for us:
The papaya trees are 36 hours.

This one by DWF was really, truly special in helping us to understand what we incorrectly perceived to be an inability to count time properly on TL's end:

DW said that it's an OS problem and that 36-hr crops will show up as 2 day for iOS users. Hmmmm...cosmos are labeled 2-day, papayas are labeled 1-day, but both are actually 36 hr. Placing all blame on the iOS is absurd. I find it odd (interesting??) that the problem started within the last few weeks, but the latest version of iOS came out months ago. Would a TL rep be willing to explain that one please??

In my chart there's a 36 one day and a 36 two day. When i was imputting the data the chart 'puter didn't like that.

We should put the chart in the faq for beginners. They may be confused.

I second that suggestion. It will help everyone understand exactly when to plant what.
