Can't say for sure if it's the best way, but I've always bred with the pures. For the Mistmoth then, that means water and magic.

I might just be lucky though, I'm only level 23 and I have the Mistmoth (egg's actually almost done hatching), Altantis and Planet super rares, along with the Fairy and Eagle rares.

well, there is no easy way, just a matter of luck. My friend only got wizard out of the water x magic, no coral.
I had bred like 15 times, tried all possible combination you can think about, only corals and got Mistmoth on the 15th time.
Wizard came on my 21st or 22th attempt.

Well I tried this and either got a Wizard or a Mindvolt (22 hr breed time) I am going to try it a few more times to see if I get the mistmoth but just thought I would post in case anyone is trying for a Wizard or Mindvolt this is something you could try. Good luck! :)

I have 4 mistmoths and all of them were accidents .. They came from water + magic and Scorpion + Atlantis ... But it took me forever to get a wizard that's what I was going for ! Now I just focus on diamond and I get all crazy stuff like I just recently got a parakeet and that's how I got my wizard :)

I got Mistmoth and Aether breeding Night with basically anything else. Two nights would be ideal. Night breaks down into Water and Magic, so it is a common byproduct.

The fail time for me is huge because I keep getting wizard after wizard. Now since it became limited I started breed diamond and night again.

First try: 44 hrs. Whohoo, it cant be anything else than anubis! And yes, it was anubis.
2nd try: wizard
Next try: 23 hrs. Woo, is it black angel? am I so lucky that I made 2 diamond hybrid in a day? no, I wasnt, it was a night.
Next try: 12 hrs. Hurray, is it a mistmoth? Well it Can be water as well. and yes, it is water.

I liked this game so much more when I didn't have to stress about trying to get certain dragons in a matter of days... I think I'm going to start looking into other dragon games now. No luck on mistmoth yet either. I'm on my 3rd Wizard though (hooray?) and... way too many Corals. They will likely join Fruitfuls in haunting my nightmares.

Yes, Mistmoth is possible with that combo but I would just stick to purple/blue because its going soon, but your call. :p

I'm still trying for mistmoth, but after months of trying, I'm at least getting something other than wizard and coral. So far my most recent attempts have been wizard, night (my first), coral, and finally my aether (also my first). I'm excited about finally getting my night and especially my aether, but I'm hoping that does 't mean I won't get my mistmoth since she's my absolute favorite, and I really want her. I've been sticking to water and magic, but I did try to switch it up and instead off breeding my higher level dragons, I switched to trying my lower level dragons.

So guys after spending the weekend breeding for mistmoth forgoing my diamond quest, I have bred 4 coral fails and 3 freakin nights!!!!! If I'd be trying for night, I wouldn't breed it, the Dragon God's are laughing at me. I've had so many wizard fails and on top of that I've traded more than I can count, I've gotten to the point of selling them because there's already one in the tank being broke down. If I never see another wizard timer again it will be too soon.

i was trying for mistmoth earlier with diamond+night. Never succeeded anything else but coral and wizard.

Now since it became limited I started breed diamond and night again.

First try: 44 hrs. Whohoo, it cant be anything else than anubis! And yes, it was anubis.
2nd try: wizard

Blew about 100 gold speeding up Wizards and Nights, and ran into so many Corals, but I got one :) I have many neighbors who are trying for them too, and I really hope they have good luck with this... or that TL wakes up and realizes what a bad choice it is to remove Mistmoth in the first place.

Level doesn't matter, only luck.
I've just bred mine with Poison and Water (4th try at all, and 1st with this combo)
If you have only Magic and Water and free gold to spend maybe you should try them in boosted breeding (it increases chance if getting rares)

I'm really afraid that I may not be getting my favorite dragon ever...in addition to all of my previous attempts, this weekend has yielded wizard, night, coral, aether, wizard, night, and another coral. I have already spent quite a bit of gold on speeding up the nest, breeding, and even evolving so I could try breeding aether and night to see if I had better luck. Based on the pattern I'm noticing, I thought about trying for one more to see if the next slot is another super rare (mistmoth NOT aether), but I'm afraid it's just going to be a waste of more gold...arghh, but I've been trying for her since I first started playing. Use your gold to breed it... Not level up dragons, that doesn't matter.

I thought maybe if I waited until the very end, there was at least a chance it might be a little easier to get her so I spent yet more gold to push another 2 tries through. I'm not sure why I even bothered to try...I spent probably almost 100 gold over the weekend trying to get her and still no luck. Overall, I've spent days and weeks at a time trying. My ending result...2 wizards, 2 nights, 4 corals, and an aether. Those are just the most recent ones that I can keep track of--before that, I got way too many wizards and corals to keep track. I'm feeling very discouraged and upset with TL right now.

Because ppl will spend gold if they want to get it!!! TL is a business they want to make money!! It's human nature that we want to get all the dragon and TL knows that.

I got a second Mistmoth on my secondary account this morning. I check the game maybe twice a day and I was amazed this morning to see it was still a Mistmoth when I put the egg in the nest, that it hadn't changed to something else.
My secondary island is Khalys Island and is fully about Nature type dragons, which help me be selective. It's a hot mess right now, because I am not a high level at all on there, and everything is so darn expensive, it is a major struggle to pick and choose what to do. Eventually, I'll be able to make it look nice.

my large black habitat went up recently to 3.6 million so check your market to make sure the cost hasn't increased.

There is nothing wrong with this thread.. misthmoth was released when this thread started and nobody knew it was gonna be removed year after.. TL removes dragons and gives us a little time to get them
before they are gone. We don't know which dragon is next to go...

The thread title gets updated as the status of the dragon changes. So when it's known that its become limited and will be removed the title has LIMITED added. Once it's removed it's changed to REMOVED

I, along with many others are very upset at the removal of the Mistmoth Dragon. Why??? It is evetyone's favorite? I have spent the last month, (and hundreds of dollars) repeatedly trying to breed this dragon. It is the ONLY one I really wanted. I guess now i can Stop wasting my money and time on a stupid game. I am at level 63, my island name is Phuket, and my StormID is bluegirl8357. We should at least have been given more advance notice - I probably would have paid the gold to just buy the four I wanted. The diamond on my second account seems much luckier than the one on my main. I've had to try countless times to get my diamond hybrids on that one, but my little android account is getting them much easier. So weird lol

It just mucks up the odds of breeding a raven (and a few other blue/purple/black combo attempts) and takes away the valuable status of "discontinued" that the mistmoth had in the arena (quite valuable in a number of types of battles!) I just bred my 4th. Yuck.

To get mistmoth? Try for DA if you have diamond, that should give you mistmoths!
