Receiving requests

Most of the time after I request for an item, I have to wait until the next day to get it, but occasionally I'll get it right after a neighbor accepts the request. Do you know what I mean?! If so, why is that? Why do I have to wait a day sometimes but sometimes get it on the same day?

It depends on when your neighbor accepts the request.

I mean, if I get it on the same day I'll get it all on the same day, same goes for when I have to wait a til the next day, I'll get all the next day, not just 1 it 2. Am I making sense? Kinda hard to explain

You can only receive 20 requested items per day. A day being 12:00 AM until 12:00 Pacific Time.

Make sure you send out a small number of requests. People recommend 20, but I have been able to get my 20 parts by requesting to 30-40. Since you can only receive 20 items, the other requests clog the system and many nbrs don't receive your request until the next day. I needed 3 parts today, sent out 5 requests and got back 2 within 1/2 hr.
