Air+Magic=Trickster 300 coins/hr 18 hrs to breed/hatch I found puttung Air in the left breeding column produced better results. It took about 15 tries but now I have 2. Add genies to the charm/island/poison listed as pest dragons!

I got it on my 2nd try too, magic x air. Familiar took 6 tries, I noticed it's been changed from common to rare, just like Trickster, so I guess I was lucky with Trickster.

hes a good earner too. I tried a couple more times and have a second one. Im tossing out all my low earner dragons and keeping only one or two of them and trying to replace them with the big earners like Wizard, Atlantis, Eagle and now Trixter. Too bad hes sooo ugly once he evolves into level 7, he was quite cute as a youngling.

How do you guys try 4,6,8 time when the update just came out? Are you using gold to speed up breeding or is there a "throw in trash" option I don't know about?

I know there is not an option to cancel a breeding/throw out eggs, so I would assume they are using gold ;)
I'd love to have the cancel option though!

At least breeding genie only takes 8 hours, much better than Island or poison.

But still no Diamond but keep trying.

Lucky you. What did you use for diamond? I did epic air x level 8 magic, got trickster on my second attempt.

Got one of every dragon in epic form...except the Trickster! Have tried over 40, yes 40, times and get Genie EVERY time. Getting really frustrated and angry now. How can the Forestfire (which i have 3 of) be super-rare and cost half the price of a, so-called, rare Trickster which I'm finding impossible to breed? Methinks TL don't know what they are doing with this game.

what combo are you using? try using epic magic and epic genie. i got mine on the 3rd or 4th try with that combo

Tried magic/air, air/magic, genie/magic, magic/genie, genie/air, air/genie, genie/genie and mixes with three colours, all multiple times. Honestly, beginning to think this is a deliberate ploy to force me into buying Trickster with paid-for gold! I'm more likely to delete the game.

Hi Patty-
I managed a Fairy with a Charm/Fruitful combo on the 8th try. The others I got with that combo were Wild, Life, Forestorm & now a Titan. So, with the Titan exception, all are pretty short times & you're not going to wait forever.
I've seen this combo work for others in another thread as well...

Don't really see the point in being a higher level, it's not like DragonVale where you unlock an additional habitat with each new level. Forget xp, just give me my Trickster already!

I'm in the same predicament- omg annoying much... Everytime I chuck the two in the breeding den- I'm like " yeah yeah another 8 hours blah blah" and then leave dragon story for at least 8 hrs. This is why they should decrease breeding time.

I guess every couple of days I'll buy 120 gold. It's less than my bus fare to and from work so if I walk instead I feel I can justify the spend, lol. Plus I'm helping the environment and staying fit, that's how I rationalise it ��

I think so too. There's always a dragon you can't get (for me, fairy) and I was beginning to think that TL may have rigged it after I tried 20 times for one and only got fruitfuls. So if they make it so theres just this dragon you cant seem to ever get, maybe they rigged it to make you frustrated, so you'll buy gold.

Yes, I do use gold. Just a little at a time, maybe 3 bars to speed up a breeding if I'm really excited for a new rare or if I just can't stand the waiting for yet another common. That's pretty much all I use, apart from speeding up hatching and evolutions occasionally.

I had to stop breeding the familiar because I would not get lucky at all. After a bunch of tried of that one, like 10 with 21hr poisons coming out, I gave up. Coincidentially that was the same day that the trickster came out. I got it that same day with genie 8 & air lvl 10. After I got the trickster I managed to get a Wild, a Forestfire and an Eagle which I had not managed since the beginning.

I want to say that there are more chances to breed the rares on the day they come out since I got an Atlantis, Seabreeze, Titan and TRickster that way but it might just be a coincidence.

Ouch I don't even want to say how I got mine... Easy simple six level air and six level magic and trickster on the first try. I really think its all luck of the draw on most of the rare. Got a mistmoth the first try of six magic and six water.

Mine was also Magic and Air but it took a lot of tries! I don't really think the levels matter, but mine were both level 10. Hang in there and good luck!
