You need to get the lightning balls. To get the 2nd and 3rd lightning balls, try bouncing the ball of off the walls to hit it. Hope that helped

Yes finally past 77.... I had to pop most of the Vernon bubbles .... But make sure you have 16 balls atleast ... Because they eat up 15 of them ..... Also try to pop the plus sign 2 at a time if possible to accumulate more shots... Good luck

I've been working on level 100 for two weeks now. I can reach the very top, but even with lots of remaining bubbles, the colours do not cooperate. I will not buy bubbles. But to be fair I think the level should be beatable without buying more. Has anyone else completed it without buying bubbles?

No, it's not. This one is pretty straightforward, with no other bubbles of any kind, except the ones that clear the row.

The trick is to ricochet the bubbles off the wall to bring down the first block, then get up and access to either one o the bubbles at the very top that clears the row, and it'll clear the entire level for you.

With the any of the star bubbles, don't worry about which colors you remove, it's not dependent on that, but do try to remove a color that is more prevalent than others. Now, open the first lock, clear your way to the next upper left lock, , clear to open right lock, clear to open left lock, pop the blue bubble that clears the row that's on the right (NOT the one on the left), open upper right lock, pop the blue bubble that clears the row that's on the left, open last lock, then use s**** to get your babies.

You don't need to purchase anything. First clear just one side when it starts (usually the right), using as few bubbles as possible. Try to pop the highest bubble. Then pop the blue clear bubble that clears the row. After that, if you get a lot of the color that lets you clear the middle, do that; otherwise try that along with clearing one of the sides. The middle gives you a clear blue row clearing bubble that is the easiest way to go, but it's not impossible if you go via a side route. Spread out your bubbles as much as you can to the kittens, cause they're the type that becomes the color that's popped next to them.

This isn't a particularly hard level. Aim high at up at the sides to clear maximum amount of bubbles and get to lightning bubbles. If you are really struggling buy the extra 6 bubbles for coins and it should be easy but it is possible without.

52 was a nightmare to finish for me too. The bubbles just never seem to drop in your favour. Eventually they did and then it was ok but it took me a long time. Can't really give any tips as it just seems to be luck of the drop but doubt give up you will get there.

I just download this game yesterday for goals to get gems/gold in other games. I reached the 3rd island so far and am stuck on the 1st level there, #13. I only have 10 days to reach the 6th island to meet the 2nd part of the goals. How do you the black balls that looks sorta like bombs to fall? Particularly the row on the left and right at 45 degree angle. The instructions at the beginning of the level say they will fall if surrounded, but they don't.

For 53 I didn't bother with the sneak peeks, just aim as high as possible (after clearing the first bit in the middle) to drop the longest lines you can at joints. It did take me a couple of tries, partly because those peeks distracted me but once I caught on to paying close attention when the level set up it was all right.

I need help on 59 please! I have been stuck here for a few days, it is the level with the three stars need the bottom (surrounded by bubbles of all scattered colors) and the 2 frozen babies at the top. I have only made it close once, and only to one baby so there must be something I'm missing! In. FrustrAted moment I blew all of my gold on bombs, which of course didn't help since I wasn't close enough . . .

Now I'm stuck on the 6th island, Sweet Spot, level 35. I've been stuck there for 4 days. Between the 2 rows of black bubbles and 4 rows of crystal bubbles, I can't seem to get through a round without popping the lighting bolt bubble next to the row of poison bubbles which makes me lose 3 throwing bubbles for each of the poisons popped. I've tried to just pop those poison rows as early as possible to get higher up the babies. I've tried aiming around to the lightning bolt above them. It doesn't matter, I end up popping the poison row an accident anyway. You can't buy extra bubbles at the start. You can only buy more after you've failed for 9 gems. I tried that also, but now I don't have enough. How did anyone get through this level?

As far as I can tell, the sixth island must be Level 24... I received the 15 gold bars when I reached the third island and beat that level, Level 12 so I am assuming that if I ever achieve passing Level 24 I will win 15 more bars of gold, and that after achieving passing Level 24 I will have reached the third island. Does this seem logical to you? The only problem is by now I have tried and failed about 75 times, coming as close to one balloon away from achieving this ...it's Sooooooo frustrating!!!!!! I really am not an idiot..
I can figure out the strategies on how to pass this level but when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter that I know how to achieve it...it won't technically let me pass!!!! Now it's telling me I have to have 3 stars before I can pass but if I can't pass this level, how can I be upgraded to 3 stars?

If I remember correctly...
- Do not use the star bubbles until every thing is completely unlocked (including the top row).
- Make note of the 2 colors holding up the formation of doom bubbles and baby bubbles at the very top.
- Use the star bubbles to eliminate those 2 colors.

I'm assuming you're talking about Level 105, yes? I believe the "blue" bubbles that mullane1 is talking about are the lightning bubbles. So to reiterate the strategy:

- Don't stress about the star bubbles. They're somewhat of decoys.
- Get to each of the locks as quickly/directly as you can.
- Pop the lightning bubbles in order -- i.e., the right-side lightning bubble first, then the left-side lightning bubble.
- To reach the babies, you may need to bounce some shots off the walls.

- In the first section, be careful not to pop bubbles that will drop the star bubbles.
- Consider whether to use the star bubbles to **** spiders / protect the babies, OR whether you should just drop the center column (by using the star bubbles to eliminate whatever two colors are holding it up) because you don't have to save all the individual babies, you just have to hit that lock to drop all the bubbles and get to the second section.
- In the second section, probably use the star bubbles to protect the baby -- either by ****ing spiders or just cutting down their ability to reach the baby.
- Go up the center as fast as you can to get to the baby. You might be able to the color bubbles along the side of the ice bubbles to break through the ice bubbles faster -- but depending on what colors the game gives you, you might not.

- This one's just hella hard. Sadly I don't have any special tips, just gotta keep trying.

Tips for 113:
- Be VERY efficient (i.e., use as few bubbles as possible) in the first section. The right-side bubble blower is easier to get rid of first. Also remember that once you eliminate a color entirely, it leaves the rotation of bubbles that you can get (at least until the next section is opened up).
- For the first two star bubbles, try to eliminate colors that will help you gain access to the third star bubble quickly.

General tip:
- Remember that once you completely eliminate a color from play, it does not come into rotation again (unless a new section opens up) so that can be helpful in maximizing efficiency.

Tips for 172:
- In the first section, try to focus on two colors (doesn't exactly matter which two) to get up to the top as quickly as you can.
- In the second section, get to that first lightning bubble as quick as you can.
- Then, whatever color is holding up the row of doom bubbles, try to break the ice block next to it with that same color. That way you can pop that row of colored bubbles and eliminate the doom bubbles, giving you access to the lightning bubble on the right. I usually find this to be faster than going for the lightning bubble on the left.
- Now that General Tip above becomes very important. You should be down to 3 colors. Make sure you break the ice bubbles with the color of the plus bubble above, or else you won't be able to get to them. Get the plus bubbles before you open the locks on the left.
- When you do go to open the locks on the left, be aware of what colors you're using and whether or not it will be easy to pop them to access the next set of locks and the babies on the other side.
- Keep in mind that you don't really have to free both sets of babies; you just have to pop that top row of babies and the other pair will fall.

there are two babies to be rescued. Both are in different colors and above the unbreakable bubbles. Below the unbreakable bubble line, there is a single star bubble. I am able to rescue only one baby with it and always other is left..with no way out. :-( pls help.

For Level 70, what you're supposed to do is use the star bubble to eliminate the color that is holding up all the steel bubbles (in other words, the third, non-baby color). Then the steel bubbles will fall and you will have access to shoot at the two babies.

I keep trying to pop the present bubble first, but it doesn't give me anything. I assume it's supposed to give me bombs for the babies trapped behind the stone blocks but it doesn't.

So, funny story: Until you just posted, I NEVER REALIZED I COULD PROBABLY JUST HIT THE PRIZE BUBBLE RIGHT AWAY. Bwahahaha.

Anyhoodles, yeah, I just popped it but it gave me nothing, so it's either a bug or a decoy. I've never had a prize bubble not give me ANYTHING before, so I'm guessing bug?

Regardless, you don't need the prize bubble to beat the level. You don't even need to drop that steel bubble. (Although it used to be a whole row of steel bubbles... Hm, someone's been redesigning.)

Tips:
- Work up to the lock as quickly as you can, but also try to **** the spiders as you go.
- Once you open the first lock, be sure to only use the star bubble to pop one of the colors that is trapping a baby.
- There should be 3 star bubbles and 3 babies.
- After the first lock, you will probably need to clear all the bubbles from the right side of the screen in order to use bounce shots to get to the other locks and star bubbles.

Ex: If you see that a doom bubble is surrounded by orange bubbles, try to break the ice below him with an orange bubble. (If you don't, you can still win the level, though.)

I never get the right bubble color to break the ice to get to the stars. Not enough bubbles. Been on this for 1 week

- There should be 4 babies each trapped in a different color, plus a 5th "extra" color.
- It doesn't really matter which colors you use to break the ice bubbles, but I recommend that extra 5th color.
- I also recommend ONLY using star bubbles to eliminate a color that is trapping a baby. This way you will only need to access 4 stars, not all 5.
- Remember that once you eliminate a color with a star bubble, it is taken out of rotation, so you will get more of the other colors.

Tips for 283:
- You should be able to get through the first section without popping any poison bubbles.
- So you should have 63 bubbles going into the second section. Again you should be able to get through without losing any bubbles.
- So you should have 59 bubbles going into the third section. Here, I don't know how to win without popping 1 poison bubble on each side.
- So I go into the top section with 36 bubbles. Here's what I recommend:
--- Go straight up. Hit the center two bubbles and burst each color. This should result in NO poison bubble poppings.
--- Go straight up again, aiming for the iced-over lightning bubble in the middle. This should result in the popping of two poison bubbles on each side.
--- Hit each switch color with a bubble of its same color, without hitting anything else that is iced over. Then pop the 2 connected bubbles of each color that is on each side.
--- Now, using the logical color for each side, hit one of the center doom bubbles and the un-iced-over color bubble next to it, so you can pop those and drop the doom bubbles.
--- Once you've dropped the doom bubbles, you have access to the babies!

- Me and one other person on the forum here (can't find the link now) were discussing and agree that the spiders are mostly random, but SEEM to move closer to the babies when you make good moves (esp a few in a row) and away from the babies when you make moves that are less threatening.

- For the second section above the locks, Try to pop the ice bubbles quickly so you can protect your baby. The more bubbles you pop around that last baby, the harder it will be for the spiders to get to it.

Tips for 324:
- The color-changing bubbles go back and forth between two color combos. (Example: Purple and yellow, then green and pink.) Pay attention to what those color combos are, because you're going to have to choose a color to eliminate with the star bubble.
- There are 4 colors total, and one of them is more dominant/numerous than the others. (For me it's usually yellow.) I think that's the best color to eliminate -- just be sure to do it when it is due up in the color-change, or else it will just come back on the next color-change!
- Start by clearing a path to the star bubble while simultaneously clearing a path to the ice bubbles on the right. And you have to watch out for the spiders too, of course.
- It's best to make sure no bubbles are sticking out past the bend in the steel bubbles, or else it might be hard to get the right angle for the bounce shots to pop the last bubble holding the whole thing up.
- Try to stick with one color for clearing the ice bubbles.
- After that, it's just a matter of having enough bubbles leftover to save the babies.

General reminder: Take your time. Bubble blowers, spiders, changing color patterns, etc. -- none of these things move until you shoot your next bubble.

This one's tough!

Tips for 196:
- In the first section, try to go straight up as fast as you can. The light switches are decoys here. Just hit the middle bubbles; you're going to pop poison bubbles inevitably, but you're just trying to open the lock.
- In the second section, my advice is to ignore the light switch. The baby cannot be sludged if it is in an "inactive" color. This means you also cannot hit the lower lightning bolt, or else it will activate the switch. So you have to make your way to the second lightning bubble. (You can "discard" un-helpful bubbles by clustering them onto the poison bubbles, just make sure you don't pop them!)
- Third section = same as second.
- Last section, you just have to get to those star bubbles quick as possible! Pretty much you can ignore the prize bubble, unless it's just super easy for you to get to. Make sure you save the 4 star bubbles for the 4 colors that the babies are trapped in, because the odds of you making it all the way up to pop them are pretty low.

Note: I had to play this level SO MANY TIMES just because I messed up a shot in the last section, or I didn't get the color I needed to get to the star bubbles, or I didn't get the color I needed to pop the baby even though I had access to the star bubble. But it IS beatable! I even went back and got 3 stars on it.

- In the first section, it's all about getting up to that lock as quickly as possible. Don't worry about popping a couple poison bubbles if you need to. As soon as you open the lock, these bubble blowers will drop.
- In the second section, you need to hit both lightning bolts (to clear the cement blocks and scroll up properly). It doesn't really matter order, but do NOT open the next lock until you've hit them both, or else the second set of bubble blowers will start going before you can even see them.
- As always, try to be quick/efficient with your shots.
- If I recall correctly, it IS possible to carefully aim a bounce shot off the left side to hit the upper lightning bubble right away... but it's a tough shot.
- In the third section, this is where you try not to pop poison bubbles. Make sure to pop the ice bubbles with the two colors that will allow you safe access to the lock, and just "throw away" the colors you don't need.
- In the top section, I recommend saving the middle baby first and then working out to the sides, because the bubble blowers might actually help you group colors together to pop more quickly.

For 358, you first need to shoot a bubble into the middle gap so that it will hold up the bubbles on the right after you hit the lightning bubble.

Then you have to shoot another bubble off the right wall into the gap between the steel bubbles and the un-lit yellow bubbles, to hold up the bubbles on the left after you hit the second lightning bubble.

The whole level requires you to shoot bubbles into gaps to hold up other bubbles. I actually thought it was quite clever!

For 230, I recommend actually writing down the color change patterns. It will help you strategize where to shoot.

Even if you lose the level and have to play again, the pattern of color changes (example: blue <-> pink, green <-> purple, etc.) will stay the same, I think.

This might be obvious, but just in case:
- In the first section, you need to drop the bubble blowers. This is the hardest part, and the most likely to waste your bubbles. But if you stay aware of the patterns, you can do this more efficiently.
- In the second section, save the babies/get to the locks.
- In the third section, I recommend aiming as high as you can on each chain, instead of working your way up, just to save time.

Oy 233 took me a while to beat.

Again I recommend writing down the changing patterns, especially because in the first section it is more complicated (2 changes between 3 colors, instead of 1 change between 2). At the very least, remember that at some point in the pattern, two of the sections will be the same color. But again, this first section is where you will end up wasting the most bubbles, so the more you can minimize that, the better.

In the second section, ignore the prize bubble and go for the star bubbles. My advice is to go up toward the middle one first. Be sure to only use a star bubble for one of the 3 colors holding up the row of steel bubbles. Once you eliminate all 3 of those colors, the steel bubbles will fall and you win.

IF you mess something up, you can also win by going for the lightning bubble and then getting the prize bubble and blowing up the babies directly. I think that's just harder/uses more bubbles.

Another tough one. The key to this one is minimizing how many colors you activate, because if you only have 2-3 in rotation, then you can break through the ice bubbles faster. So as soon as the level starts, look at what 2 colors the babies are trapped in, and try to ONLY activate and advance those colors at first. That will help you "eliminate" the extraneous 2 colors and get up to the next group of switches more quickly.

("Activate" meaning hit the switch; "advance" meaning use that color to break through the ice bubbles.)

After that, I still recommend avoiding the new switches for as long as possible, but it gets pretty hard, plus you do need to activate at least one of them -- either the right side or the left side -- in order to save the middle baby.

- In the last section (ice bubbles + 3 columns of doom guys with prize bubbles in the middle) use fireballs to get through the ice bubbles until you run out of fireballs then, start breaking ice bubbles and saving babies as quickly as you can.

- In the first section, it is possible to pop ZERO poison bubbles.
- Start by going along a left diagonal toward the first lightning bubble. There is a path 2-bubbles wide (between the doom bubbles and the blue poison bubbles) to focus on.
- Then go up to the next lightning bubble on the left side.
- After that, you should be able to hit only the ice bubbles/babies to get to the lock, and have something like 71 bubbles left going into the next section.
- In the second second, again go along the left diagonal toward the lightning bubble. (The light switches are unnecessary.) Try to be strategic about when you activate new colors. Eliminate them as you go, if possible.
- In the final section, the light switches are more important, and again, try to pop as few poison bubbles as possible. You need to activate both the red and blue switches (so you will lose one poison bubble there) but after that you only need EITHER the pink or the purple side, not both, to reach a lightning switch.
- After that, just try to get to a lightning bubble at the top. (I went on the right side and used a bounce shot.)

Thanks for the reply. I went back and tried it without hitting the bottom switches. Lol I didn't have enough bubbles left that way to make it to the star in 2nd section. I can make it to the cement at top and no matter how many bombs I have..even when I bought the 8 extra a couple times just to try getting past this..it still wasn't enough. I don't see any way of making the cement stone babies change colors? So am assuming ya have to have ALOT of bombs. Just don't know how to get them and sure am not going to buy that many.

I had tried this level so many times I finally bought an extra 24 bubbles just so I could move on. I just couldn't seem to figure out how only 12 bombs could do it since the stones were there holding bubbles and couldn't have that many bubbles left ever then hmm was it 11 or 12 cement blocks at top? I hate using boosts on any but between bubble mania,bubble seasons(guess that is one that will never be updated?) and jewel mania..there have certainly been a dozen levels I have had to buy boosts to move on,lol.

- No, you don't *have* to buy bombs.
- Pay attention to the color-changing patterns. You can use them to your advantage. You want to pop ice bubbles in a way that will make it easy for you to pop the "dormant" bubbles after you've activated the switch.
- You don't actually need to save the babies at the bottom, since they will automatically drop as you progress upward through the level.
- You can't actually get to the lightning bubble in the top left corner (unless you buy a bomb, like you talked about). What you need to do is have enough bubbles left when you get to the top section to save the babies. You can try to maximize your remaining bubbles by eliminating colors from rotation (meaning you should pop all the bubbles/babies of a single color).

Indeed it is! Took me quite some time to beat it.

The basic strategy for 377 is to get a prize bubble as quickly as possible, then use that prize bubble (which is a fireball) to save a baby AND simultaneously pick up the next prize bubble.

Keep in mind that a fireball bubble has a blow-up depth of 2 bubbles.

As for the star bubbles, you are better off using them on a color that the bubble blowers have recently blown, because they too are on rotation. So that means if they just threw out a green bubble, you're safer to eliminate the green because it's now at the end of their cycle.

That said, the colors you eliminate will come back a few times in this level, because as you scroll up they are on top of the pyramids, so they re-enter the bubble blowers cycle.

- Work your way up both sides of the "V" formation of bubbles, until you are able to get the middle cluster of bubbles/babies/doom bubbles to drop.
- Hit the lightning bubble on the left side. This will get rid of the cement bubbles and give you access to the babies at the top. No bounce shot necessary.

152:
- First, make smart decisions about where to shoot, with the goal being to drop the spiders / **** them / cut them off from the babies.
- Get the prize bubbles if possible. They're not essential to win, but they'll make it a lot easier.
- Once you've gotten rid of the spiders, don't worry about saving the babies. Just get to the locks. Once you open them, everything below will drop and the babies will automatically be saved.
- If you have a rainbow bubble, you can use it to win as soon as the locks are open. Just aim at the place where the two main clusters of colors meet (i.e., the two groupings of poison bubbles) and that will save both babies.
- If you don't have a rainbow bubble, you need 2 bomb bubbles to save the babies.

- Then clear a path to the lightning bubble and pop it.
- In the top section, make your way to the 3 light switches as efficiently as possible. (For me that meant going up through the left.)
- Try not to activate the 4th color (i.e., don't bump the snow-caps off any of that color's bubbles).
- Once all the switches are activated, you can pop the babies. (The big glob of bubbles should drop once you save the middle baby.)

My tips for 432:

For several of the levels in the 400s, you have to create a chain of bubbles to hold up the switches.

Remember that bubbles will stick to chains, btw.

And also remember not to pop all the colors, because then they'll disappear from your rotation, and you can't make a chain of more than 2 bubbles without multiple colors.

I picked up another thread that you have to 'scaffold' the bubbles surrounding the switch. It doesn't matter what colours you use as long as you create a network attached to a black bubble. Then you can pop the colours surrounding the switch and it won't fall. I hope this makes sense?! It worked for me in level 447 which is the only level to defeat me, until now....! Lol

The switch for the bubble holding up the last baby is actually not in the first section. It's connected to that string of plus bubbles and usually can't be seen (because it's too far up) so you may want to pay special attention when the level is first loading. Or even take a screenshot. You might be accidentally popping the bubbles around it, which lets the switch fall before you even see it.

For 253, they key is to get through the first 3 sections (by getting to the locks) as efficiently as possible.

In the first section, you should be able to do it in about 6-8 shots.
The second section probably takes the most. Just try to make every hit accomplish BOTH bubble-popping AND un-snow-capping.
In the third section, you should be able to get through in just 6 shots.

And then in the final/top section, I usually tried to work my way up the sides, carving around the bottom two doom bubbles to get them to drop. But if the colors I need aren't coming up, then I would just try to clear a path wherever I could, to get access to the babies.

Ugh, 255 was one of my nemeses.

Tips:
- In the first section, carefully break your way to the star bubble. Use it to eliminate one of the two colors in the snow-capped rows. Which one doesn't make a huge difference, but DO try to use as few bubbles as possible in this section, bc boy will you need them in the first.
- In the second section, focus on one side and get to the star bubble. Use it to eliminate one of the two colors holding a baby.
- Repeat for the second star bubble.

In general, remember that you can "productively throw away" colors you don't need by using them to clear a different area of bubbles. Just try not to let them get in the way of your path to the star bubbles.

I found it VERY hard to get through the second section. There are just so many colors! But eventually I did beat this level (as have others) so be patient.

If anyone has a better strategy, please share.

With 372, I think the first section is fairly straight forward. Activate the light switches as quickly/efficiently as possible to drop the bubble blowers and get to the locks. It is critical to get through this with as many bubbles leftover as you can, otherwise you'll just run out for the top section.

Now, in the second section, just hit the lightning bubble, because it will automatically give you the prize bubbles, which are fireballs.

The fireballs each have a depth-radius of 2 bubbles. Using them on a poison bubble does NOT take away your bubbles, so you're better off going straight up instead of toward the side. (Because if you hit a fireworks bubble, that can and will pop poison bubbles, which will take your bubbles away.)

Don't worry about the spiders so much; nothing you can really do.

416 tips:
- First, know that the 3 babies you can see are the only 3 there are. Once you save them, you're done.
- That means you do NOT need to blow up the row of 3 cement blocks right above you. They're annoying, but you CAN work around them. (And probably should, because it would take two bombs to get rid of them anyway.)
- So, you can carefully carve a path to each of the prize bubbles, which will give you 3 bombs to save the 3 babies.
- Or, you can use bombs on the bottom 2 babies and then the lightning bubble to save the 3rd (top) baby.
- Also, if you mess up, there is a "spare" bomb on the top left, but it's out of sight and surrounded by ice bubbles, so not exactly easy to get to.

I did 416 slightly differently. Not sure if my way is any better or worse.
First, on the left cluster, I both went after the prize on the left side, and cleared out bubbles on the right-hand side to clear the way for bank shots off the left wall to the prize on the right cluster. With the collected prizes from those two clusters, I used the first to bomb the right two of the three lower blocks (place the bomb right between them), which gives a straight line access to the right cluster baby. I cleared the way to that baby, and bombed it with the second prize bomb. Then on the cluster in the upper right, I both went after the prize on the left, and cleared the way to the lightning on the right. (It's possible to clear the way to the lightning with only activating one poison bubble.) I used this third prize bomb on the left cluster baby, which can be hit directly with the two lower blocks cleared out of the way - if you are careful, or alternately can be hit with a bank shot off the right wall. Finally, I hit the lightning to clear the final baby.

Hints for Level 260:

Always look for shots that serve the double function of popping bubbles and uncovering snow. Try to target "joints," where different parts of the structure come together; if these are eliminated, you can get large parts of the structure to drop out. Before popping the lock to open the chain, note the locations of bubbles underneath the chain. When the lock is popped, these bubbles will continue to hold up bubbles from the lower section which are in contact with them. However, if you clear bubbles away from these areas before popping the lock, then everything below will drop out when the lock is popped. Once in the second stage, focus on working your way up the right-hand side. Try to drop the babies at the center top using bank shots off the right wall. Once these drop, everything else follows.

When you first open the level, as it starts scrolling, pay attention to the color surrounding the bubble blower in the center. Use the star bubble to eliminate that color. This should help you tremendously when you get to the top.

Stuck on 459. I saw the previous post but I am having difficulty getting past the first chain link. The switch-on bubble seems to be only controlled by the very chancey starry bubbles. It seems to switch on every 10 attempts or so. Any hints?

The key to getting a fireworks bubble to hit a switch is to clear away the surrounding bubbles first, so that the fireworks have fewer targets.

How do you beat level 296 with out popping any poison bubbles??

You can beat 296 without popping poison bubbles, basically by only moving forward one "section" at a time with yellows.

So if you pop one side with yellow, you have to wait and pop the other side with yellow too. THEN you can move forward to the next section and repeat.

This means you will have to carefully "waste" purple bubbles at times. Just throwing them somewhere where they won't be a problem.

If you're unlucky, you won't get enough yellows and will have to try again.

Now I'm stuck on 466. The earthquake cookies are so unpredictable and I have never got through the final barrier yet.

This level requires a lot of luck, both with colors that come up in the queue and with what the "earthquake cookies" (or whatever they're called) take out and what they leave behind. My main advice for the level is to try to advance without using the earthquake cookies in the parts of the level where you can, and only use the cookies when it would otherwise take too many bubbles to advance. In particular, at the start try to color and clear the ice bubbles straight above so that the black bubbles on the sides drop out without having to use cookies. Right after that, similarly try to use normal bubbles to clear out one or both bubble clusters just to the left and right of center to drop the doom bubbles that extend outward, exposing the pair of lightning bubbles on a side. If you are able to save up about six cookies later in the level, you can make a big push at the end to reach the pool of lightning bubbles at the top. Then one hit on these with a normal bubble will start a chain reaction to win the level.

I got two stars on 115-120, but I need two more stars to unlock the next island. I'm guessing that consecutive bounce shots and drop shots will build up a lot of points, but I'm curious about the bubbles popping at the end. Sometimes I get 20-30 bubbles popping and other times 1 or 2. Are these the bubbles that are left in your cannon or the unpopped bubbles left in the level?

consecutive shots where something pops builds up a ton of points, but each non-popping shots brings that down pretty quickly.
at the end of each successful round, you get points for everything that drops that's on the screen already AND unpopped bubbles left in the cannon.

You can go back and play earlier levels if you want, to build up stars. As mentioned, you can get higher points/more stars by trying to complete levels with lots of consequetive pops & drop bonuses, as well as using the fewest bubbles...

Hints for Level 285:

At the start, any of four colors may show up in the queue, but only orange and green bubbles are useful, so the others should be discarded off to the sides in a place that will not clear any snow off any bubbles. You may optionally want to restart the game if either of the first two bubbles in the queue are colors other than orange or green, but this will not make such a big difference, so is not really necessary. With the first orange and first green bubble, carefully throw the bubble so that it lands into the “nook” below and to the outside of the switch on the side with bubbles of the same color, such that you clear snow off the switch and other bubbles near the switch. Next, with the second orange and second green bubble, pop the cluster of bubbles that had snow removed from them with the first throw. However, with the first of these cluster-popping bubbles, be careful not to hit the switch, as doing so will also hit the other switch which will eventually result in activating some toxic bubbles. Once these clusters are gone, then hit the switches and proceed to remove the remaining orange and green bubbles off the board, such that those colors no longer show up in the queue. But do this in a way such that no toxic bubbles are popped. Once that is done, start placing blue and red bubbles on the corresponding sides. Place the first of these in the nook formed by three ice bubbles, and place the next two adjacent to that such that a cluster is formed and popped, and those ice bubbles are colored. While doing this, avoid clearing snow off any toxic bubble. Then pop those ice bubbles and after that throw a bounce shot to clear snow off the switch and two other bubbles, again avoiding clearing snow off any toxic bubbles. Finally, throw a bounce shot into the nook that has been formed to activate the switch and clear or drop all neighboring bubbles. When this is done on both sides, the center part with the lightning bubble will drop out. Now drop the remaining parts of the blue and red clusters by popping the bubble which attaches them near the center, again being careful not to clear snow on bubbles adjacent to toxic bubbles. At this point, when all the blue and red bubbles have been dropped, you should have only purple bubbles in your queue, and about 20 or more bubbles remaining. At this point, the three things you want to do are: hit the purple switch to activate the purple bubbles surrounding the top baby; remove snow from and then pop either the three lowest orange bubbles on the left or three lowest green bubbles on the right, in order to clear access to the purple bubbles surrounding the top baby; and color and clear the three lowest babies. This can all be done with less than 20 bubbles if you are careful about only introducing one new color into the queue (either orange or green) and then pop all uncovered (snow removed) bubbles of that color such that the color is once again removed from the queue, leaving only purple. That is, be careful not to clear snow off any other color bubble besides orange (or green) and purple.

The search function's easy to use, and you can search thru a particular forum, or look within just one thread. I've found l get best results by using quotes around the level number, like this: "level 71". I'm on level 181 and I have no idea how to get the spiders to stop advancing on the babies. I tried alternating between working on the left and right sides of the screen, and creating new "lines" of bubbles (not attached to the main bubble body), but no matter what I did they just went for the babies without stopping. Ive gotten to 181 based on these two theories, but they're not working for this level. Help?

For level 181 and spiders in general:

- Don't worry about the spiders. Just get to a lightning bubble as quickly/efficiently as possible. The fewer moves the better, bc it gives the spider less "time" to get there. (Even though your moves are not actually timed in this game, thank goodness.)

- The spiders are mostly unpredictable. Some of us think they go after babies more intently when you are going after babies more intently too, and sometimes it seems like the spiders go after babies more intently if you shoot at them (the spiders) more directly.

rw112, I beat 417 before, but can't seem to duplicate it to give you advice... o_O Generally I would think setting off fewer light switches would help, because then there are fewer colors to deal with. But I think it matters WHICH switch. I came the closest to replicating success when I tried to limit myself to the lowest color/switch, and just going between that color and the baby's bubble color for as long as possible.
