I've seen this happen to Androids before. :(
I have tips on my beach cupcakes sitting on a counter. (not on a table!)http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g390/me2nyy/e9d1c452.jpg

Yes, I thought it was weird that the people were leaving the whole dish. Now I know it's a ghost

Sometimes I get only half the item appearing in front of the customer. Like when the customer has a Love Potion, only the bottom part of the glass appears. Or when they're having Taxi Cookies only half the plate appears on the table.
Yes i sometimes notice food on a table without a customer.. First i thought a customer was leaving the dish because the food tastes bad :D
Oh I just posted something like this a while ago lol
With me, it only happens with the watermelon cake. No other food does that.
Does anyone know if you still get profit ( 4 coins each plate) for the cake when no one eats it? I noticed that I don't see the coins fly out when it eventually disappears :(

When you see the plate of food with no one eating it, it doesn't actually come off your counter. It's just a display bug (I think it's a cute one, and since it's not doing any harm, I think it's lower in priority to fix).
The food cut it half - its a loading issue. You can try restarting your device :)
Coins on a counter - try restarting, or even deleting and reinstalling the game.

Thanks, I tried both and they're still there.

You will need to email support@teamlava.com to have them fix this for you.

Thanks, Kooky. I won't bother them with this, I plan on letting the food sell out and then storing the counter.
I just thought it was funny and went with this thread.

Have you tried moving it first, then restarting? Sorry, I should have asked that first. Duh ;)
