Anyone elese notice this

When I visit neighbours however many customers enter the store while Im there is it no more customers enter the store. Or if a few are entering no more enter they shop check out and that's it. I wath the store empty. I first noticed this last night as I seen the cashier behind the register but no customers. I must scare them off..lol

Oh and they only stop entering once I start tipping.

I've noticed that too, (also in RS&BS ). Also noticed if I revisit that same nbr's store after tipping, then they start walking through all business as usual. I've wondered if this is to make it easier on the tipper.

Returning to your nbr's shop also lets you then watch the traffic flow, happiness of shoppers etc. I find this part fascinating (lol sometimes it doesn't take much) especially in the larger shops where things are cleverly placed.
