Moving Items

I am having trouble moving items back & forth from the cleared Isles. Can anyone help me?

It's kinda tricky - you have to sort of flick them to the next island. Try and line it up - not to where you want it to go - but to the closest spot (even on top of something that's already there).

Moving anything in this game is more than annoying- last week I revamped and it took two hours, needless to say Im swearing the whole time and kept checking other apps to see if my iPad was broken. It's soooo annoying, and it seems to be harder when the habitats full of epics. Any chance they're going to fix it?
