Just got the new update. The familiar dragon looks so cute! :) It says common in the description but there's already a common green/purple type, and it costs 800 gold, so I was wondering if it was a typo or something?

I don't know about others, but that doesn't work. I've tried that before and all I get is yet another fruitful. But maybe that's because the fairy dragon is impossible for me to get. I haven't gotten one out of about 20 tries.

I got my fairy (my first rare dragon baby) by breeding Island X Firestorm both at epic level.
I actually got all my rare/super rare by doing this combo, except purple hybrids of course

Me too. I got four rares from this combo: 2 serpents, 1 mindvolt, and 1 wild. It just about gave me everything but that fairy.

Yeah, I don't really think there would be two common green/purple breeds. I've also got my third poison in the breeding den. The worst part is the 21 hours wait. :(

First, to get a familiar, it's based on pure luck, if you ask me. Just keep trying forest and magic, it doesn't matter which order they go in.
And to read comments on your profile, just tap menu, overview, and it'll show your wall.

I've managed to breed 2 Familiars & almost 50 Poisons. Yes I'm exaggerating. I've tried interchanging the Forest & Magic's left/right positions as well as using epic leveled dragons. So far it's made little difference.

There are some dragons that are ridiculously hard to get. Like the trickster I've been trying for- I followed someone's suggestion on how they got theirs and I've ended up with loads of genies. I'm so bored with this game. It's slow- and at the moment pointless- it gets about 5 mins of my attention a day. I hope you end up getting your familiar- if you keep trying, you'll eventually get it. Maybe next year, but you will get it.

Agree completely, beginning to actually hate this game now, despite how much time (and money) I've put into it. I've now failed 48, yes FORTY EIGHT, times to get the Trickster and I've just about had enough. This is not fun anymore, now just a form of mental torture, lol.

If you are going to sell your baby dragons, make sure you place it in a habitat before you sell them. Then you get the experience for that dragon. It you sell it in the nest you don't get anything for it.

I FINALLY got a Familliar! I've been noticing a pattern for me-I started buying a lot, i mean a LOT, of Nether Portals and wound up getting a bunch of rares, like Scorpion, Planet, Parakeet, Forestfire.. Now Familliar. Now to make my week would to get the Infinity... or Wizard XD Fairy was my first hybrid, believe it or not :P So if i manage to snag a Wizard or make do with using my Coral, i may get more rares(I'll tell you who i used) or manage a diamond in the process.

Fire + Air- Scorpion(1st try with nethers)

I usually go with the pures, so forest+magic. Those 21 hours are a pain... You can get diamond without the familiar, just all four colors need to be present.

I gave up breeding anything for a while. still returning visits, sending maps but not doing much else. I don't have familiar, planet, diamond, serpent etc. but got other ones on first try. Just not fun right now. Haven't upgraded to New Dawn as it looks too bright when I visit neighbours with it. I am light sensitive and brightness triggers migraine.

I used forest and magic, but I do remember also using poison & poison too....

I couldn't breed one for the life of me myself, but then got one while trying for the witch. Cannot remember if I used poison x poison or just magic and forest though. I nevervremember breeding combos...

I got majority of them when I was trying for the witch first time round (which I didn't get), and I got the rest when trying for zombie & witch (again. that i still don't have)

I'm jealous. I have gotten 17 Poisons and 1 Familiar. Tried going for Boo, got Luck. lol I seem to have a common curse, i know they're supposed to take longer to get, but really? You can't say I'm not trying to get Zombie/Witch before it "flies away", I've been working round the clock and I have probably spent at least 80 gold speeding up.

I never actually tried for a familiar.... it was never on my radar. I wanted the witch! It's so cute.

Poison and Luck are common.... how many tries did you have to do before you got them?

I ve been wanting familiar and tried and tried. Now when I wanted a Zombie I have breed 100 times with nothing but the 21 hour curse. Just yesterday I get a Familiars and one witch. I tried everything and even now I am trig Witch with magic and still 21 hour.

My mom and i love familiar! I got mine trying for LEs and she didnt want LEs just familiar and she got one finally yesterday ( i played for her the day before and got her a witch which she likes for the coins it makes).
Familiar remind sme abit of spyro so thats what i named him.

I have to say that when the Familiar dragon came out, I wanted one so bad. I have the Poison dragon curse. I've bred over 70 Poison dragons and no Familiars or Zombie. I don't even know how I got lucky with a Witch. The Limited Editions are coming to a close and still no Zombie. Although in the end I can't whine because I was fortunate to get 3/4. I decided to stop breeding for Zombie when I saw it was just not gonna happen, especially with the 21 hour wait for that darn Poison dragons. I want to wish everyone luck! (No Luck dragons though, that was another annoying breeding wait time)
