Hoping this is an LTO -- too soon for another box! But it would be awesome if we got a new swimsuit catalog this week. And if it could have decent sunnies with it, I would die of happiness.

And we've had the same two boring swimsuits forever now! I really hope we get red bikinis in our next update. The model in the swimwear display is wearing a red bikini even though there's never been one available in the game! :p

Yeah I would get It if it was limiter offer but in the others we didn't get limited offers only boxes

I don't think so, about the LTO's. I can't recall it ever taking this long for them to show up after the update goes through. Although I have noticed in RS/BS that I got the box, and actual item updates...but no "the weekly update is here" pop up, just the box one.

Nearby state neighbor!! Our heat index was 105F today...yay [not]. Plus summer just began. Didn't we have winter items til like late March/Early April when it was already spring. I guess TL likes to make sure they cover all the seasons throughout the planet. Lol.

I think the box has cute stuff in it...not sure if I want to buy away though.

Just like 2 items in the box which are both 2nd place. So I am not going to buy these boxes.

Nevertheless, I love this week update. I am not particular in the beach theme, but still enjoy looking those cool stuff in my neighbors' store.

Glad that at least I can buy one aqua. pillar without taking risk. To me, it's super cool and the cost is reasonable. When the season is off, it can still be a Fung Shui decoration :cool:

It's summer all the time in the Philippines even if it's raining it's still pretty warm. I just want to move from summer because we already have summer items.

I'm in Canada and now that it is finally getting warm I'd like to see more summer items, thank you very much.

I agree, the stuff in the boxes make look nice (well, some of them) but doesnt fit in my boutique, but I do love the avatar items, mostly that dress thats for first prize.

I understand what ic3e is saying. But at the same time I understand Zee_Zatara as well. I think we all have to consider where this company TL is located, the demographic of its customers ( in increasing percentage) and the season/ holiday calendar it follows. As I've notice, it follows the US calendar. Not by preference it think. But culturally unavoidable considering TL is located in the US.

Sure! I would be happy with Runway and Hollywood themes, and I hope we get both.

As for the catalogs you mentioned, most of them are from last summer, as are most of the decor items. This is the first week this year we've had new specifically summer decor items, and we've never had a summer box until now either. The only two swimsuit catalogs are from last summer and they've gotten old, so I don't think a new swimsuit catalog for this summer is too much to ask.

Maybe TL should retire some of the old summer catalogs and decor items, like they have with the holiday stuff. They could do the same with last year's winter stuff when next winter rolls around, and so on. That would help keep the content fresh and it won't feel like we have "too much" of any season or theme.

I think TL designs themes based on the previous poll result. Like fairy and modern themes in the past 3 months. So they are something the general would like to see. No matter you like it or not, thing must move on and the next theme is on the road, maybe the Independence Day??

Giving you more choices just means more diversification among boutiques and more chances to satisfy different groups of interest. New players even won't be able to distinguish what are old and new (maybe they can guess by level unlock, idk)... These catalogs just look so common in summer style and it is difficult to say what are in or out! And please consider people on the way to master these catalogs!

The strange thing is the bathing suit catalogues were available year round...meanwhile, the red jeans catalog (which rocked) was taken away since it was considered a holiday item. Go figure, I've given up trying to decipher TL's logic - I'm just enjoying the games.

I agree, it was just a suggestion based on my discussion with Ic3e, but I don't actually think it should be done. I'm all for having more of everything rather than less, and if we don't like certain catalogs or items we don't have to get them for our boutique. And as you say, removing old catalogs wouldn't be fair to those who still haven't mastered them yet.

I'm on level 91 a d still need 41 catalogs to master ... I guess those who have mastered most have more than 22 slots

I'm on level 96 and have mastered 35 of the 59 currently available catalogs, so I have 24 left to master. Also mastered the makeup counter catalog and all but one of the holiday catalogs. I have 25 slots, but the 3 extra slot purchases were unintentional (gem trap). I already figure I'll never be able to master all of the catalogs since new ones will be added much more quickly than I can ever master them.
