Dogs, cats or hamsters?

I say dogs. I'm going to be looking after my friends hamster for a few days in July:)

luv luv luuv puppys. dogs yeah. such great protectors and pets. can't say to much bout a hamster but have always wanted one. but was turned off by thinking of them running away and clawing me!

Hamsters don't claw ya. They bite with their long teeth. I know I had them when I was younger and would forget to tap the shavings to wake them up before picking them up and I'd startle them awake and get bit. Not fun lol.

Dogs, no doubt.
In order I would choose dogs -> hamsters -> cats.
I'm allergic to most cats really bad, and a lot of them tend to hate me. If I get bit or scratched the bite/scratch mark swells up, turns red and hurts like no tomorrow. Plus they're independent little buggers that think they're better than you.
And they like to eat things. Things that you care a lot about. Such as the baby birds in your patio that you named. Found the guts in the yard...

When I used to have hamsters, I'd have two that used to clamp onto your hand or finger and not let go. A few times they got flung across the room in surprise because when a hamster is painfully clinging to your skin with its teeth, you tend to flail your arms.
But what really hurts is guinea pigs. Have a (not too badly, but it's there) noticeable scar on the palm of my left hand from one of my old pigs at least 6 or 7 years ago where I got bit. Blood went everywhere.
