I get that storm8 or TL whatever want their games to be downloaded as much as possible. I understand also that they have the right to offer them as "goals" and I totally agree that is my option to decide accept the annoying goal (because it won't go away unless you finish it) to be rewarded gems, what I think is SO wrong is that they give "mafia" games as goals! I mean, ok, I could even do the casino thing, but this game? Shoplifting? Breaking in? What is next? **** somebody from the other gang? So wrong done TL, SO wrong.

Boy am I glad I didn't get that goal, as I wouldn't do it. I don't care about the gems that much to download a Storm8 game. I did that before I ported from Android to iPad to get the free gems, and really couldn't stand having those games on my phone. I uninstalled them as soon as the transfer was complete.

However, I can understand why TL is giving this offer to iOS users. Android players still can get free gems when downloading a game when it is offered to them, but iOS can't. The only way for us to get the free gems is to do it this way, offered within a goal. I guess just like Android can ignore the offer to download, we can just ignore the goal.

IMO you should find yourself thankful, but I guess I can see why you may not see it that way. Even if you didn't continue to play it, you'd at least be able to download it for the gems, then get rid of it. :p

Hey, most of these goals I'm not even getting, so not only is TL discriminating against Android when it comes to goals/games, they are discriminating against iOS users that may have already downloaded and started playing some of the games. Because I'd already played Pet Shop Story, I didn't get the goal, which is wrong IMO. I didn't get Slots either because I downloaded it to get rid of the stupid billboard/walking ad/annoying pop-up.

Oh well, I came from Android so I already knew how it felt to be left out, no biggie that it continues even though I'm a deserter and on iOS now. :p

Actually, it is 9 gems. 6 for installing and 3 for levelling to level 6. Luckily, i had to only play it for like 5 mins and then I hit level 6. Uninstalled immediately after. I got 9 gems for BS and RS, but this goal didn't appear in Farm for me. Very happy about the gems, but I felt really dirty after all the shoplifting and mugging! I really don't get it... Why would anyone wanna play such a game? I wonder if Storm 8 gamers have such goals too... Download team lava games and level up to get their gem equivalent. If they do, their forum may have a similar topic like this too...

The mobster game I could at least understand, but I've never played poker and it took me at lest 10 minutes to figure out who I was in the game. I have to play for 2 more days to get the reward. Then goodbye! Not going to regret deleting that game.

-On the Storm8 Forums (I like all 4 companies), "go play Fashion Story instead" is often a response used if someone gets backlash from the more...dissatisfied, aggressive (and to use Storm8's exact words, "cranky old") players who are responding if someone is upset about being constantly put on Sanctions or the Hit List.
-S8 games do have adverts. They're wayyyy less intrusive though. (but, then, S8 games have block and reset features too!)

I play on a kindle fire and all of the ads are only for story games.. and the only way i see them is if i hit the blue bottom in the corner. I get zero pop ups :)
