I want to block my door so that I can catch up on stocking my store store...but when I did it before as soon as I opened the door most of my items disappearred. I think I received all of the money for the items as if the door was open but ended up with a bunch of empty counters and racks. Does anyone know if this is still the way it works?

Thanks!

The best thing to do is to not close your store, but rather just block off a section. Put a cash register there in the blocked off section. You don't have to give the customers access to any items unless you'd like, maybe one or two items that you'd like to sell off - maybe the black shoes or red sweaters? Or maybe some higher priced items?

But if you do give them access to clothes, make sure in addition to the cash register you give them a mirror for accessories and changing rooms for clothes.

Your heart rating will go down but don't worry about it. As soon as you open up the store again it will go right back up in no time.

Here are two examples of blocking off a part of the store:

No access to clothes/accessories:
