I notice a lot of people with many different types of appliances and I was wondering if it makes sense to have many different appliances or just all the same... Thanks in advance:)

It's a personal choice - how you want to play. Having multiple appliances means you're cooking several different recipes, which some people like. Having the same kinds of appliances and cooking the same recipes is what others like. It's all up to you :)
