The updated cost in money and time of food (math)

I decided to sit down and do the math for food cost, both in time and money, for the updated numbers. This is on my account diddleman (on my bf's iphone) since my Android can't run this game.

Impruberries $30/6 = $5 per 1 food
Impruberries 30 sec/6 = 5 seconds per 1 food

Buffbeets $120/20 = $6 per 1 food
Buffbeats 180 sec/20 = 9 seconds per 1 food

Firapples $650/50 = $13 per 1 food
Firapples 3,600/50 = 72 seconds per 1 food

Pumpwings $3,200/225 = $14.22 per 1 food
Pumpwings 18,000 sec/225 = 80 seconds per 1 food

Eliteleeks $5,500/325 = $16.9 per 1 food
Eliteleeks 28,800 sec/325 = 88.61 seconds per 1 food

Scalypears $13,000/700 = $18.57 per 1 food
Scalypears 72,000 sec/700 = 102.8 seconds per 1 food

So there you have it! Hope this is helpful. I also hope that TL will do us a solid and put the food pieces back to normal, it's not like all of us (or any of us) had islands packed full of epics because they were just too generous with the food. Now it's just unbalanced, imho. Either way, math!

Before the change, I have one dedicated farm to grow Scalypear for Lv.9 dragons. Now, I don't even want to farm Eliteleeks, and the only time I would do Pumpwings is if I have to go out where Wi-Fi is scarce or before I'm going to sleep!

I just calculated the results in terms of 1 hour:

Buffbeets x Fireapples using 6 farms

Fireapples: $3900, 300 food
Buffbeets in 3 turns: $2160, 360 food

So, I prefer do 3 turns of Buffbeets in 1 hour than Fireapples. I spend less coin and earn more food.

I do the same as well and pump wings when I sleep :)

I'm doing the same thing, Buffbeats and Pumpwings when I go to sleep.

As soon as I open the game, I harvest whatever I have, then IMMEDIATELY plant the impruberries, since they cost the least per fruit. Then I collect all my "silver" from my habitats. By the time I have done that, the Impruberries are ready to harvest. I do that a couple of times while I am maintaining all the other items of the game (breeding, evolving, etc.).

Once I am ready to close the game, I then plant the Buffbeets. I don't mess with anything other than those two fruits now. Sad... but on the positive, at least I don't have to upgrade my farms now! haha, got you TL (this ONE time!) ;)

If do runs of Impruberries while playing the games. If I'm on the iPad playing other games, I'll do Buffbeets. If I'm going off, but coming on soon, I'll do Pumpwings. The only other thing I'll ever plant otherwise is Eliteleeks before I sleep"
