full tables show empty for me

My neighbours keep telling me my tables are full but they show empty to me. Normally they would change the moment I would tip somebody and come back to my restaurant. Today nothing I can do to let my tables show full as they are. Why is this and more important: what to do about this?

No I will give that a try next time.
The days just changed and after gifting everybody they showed full to me.

Is this normal? Do other people have this problem too?

That used to happen to me but I stopped noticing it after I began accepting gift and gifting people back first thing.
