Bakery Story Expansion and 45 Friends Question

I'm close to level 64 and while considering expanding my bakery again, I noticed that there is an expasion offered for 80 gems and then the same size expansion showing no gems, but "45 friends". Since 45 friends could possibly mean 2 different things, I thought I'd ask ... What exatctly does "45 friends" mean?

I also noticed that Level 75 appears to be the highest offered. Is this true or do I have my wires crossed? LOL

You need to meet level, coin, and neighbor requirements in order to expand. You are seeing the "45 friends" requirement because you apparently do not have at least 45 neighbors. Once you get 45 neighbors, the box will tell you that you need 15M coins. Once you have 15M coins, you can expand to 21x24.

You would need 45 neighbors AND coins (though I don't recall the exact amount) to expand, not using gems. Once you've reached the required number of neighbors, then the coin option will appear.

I'm not sure I'm understanding the second part. Currently Bakery can go to level 99, though a few people have reached 100.

To expand to 23x26, the highest expansion, you need to be at least Level 75 if you want to expand with neighbors and coins.

Your next 3, and last expansions:

21x24 - Level 60, 45 neighbors, 15M coins
22x25 - Level 65, 50 neighbors, 20M coins
23x26 - Level 75, 50 neighbors, 30M coins

Of course you can expand for 80 gems at any time without meeting any of the above requirements.

Thank you for clearing up the 45 friends question, I appreciate it.

About the Level question ... It shows Level 75 when I clicked on Design and then the expansion option, so I thought perhaps that was the limit. I use an Android Tablet (Acer), so I didn't know if that might have something to do with it.

Ok, this might sound off but I'm at level 71, and I want to expand with 80 gems, however it says that I can't expand until till my bakery is 13x16. Do I have to wait until level 75 to do it? Or do I have to expand in order of the levels?

You have to expand your bakery step by step, meaning if you are currently on 11x14, you can't jump to 13x16 without expanding to 12x15 first.
