When I accept gold from neighbors, sometimes the news of it won't go away. So now I have like 30 news posts about people giving me gold and there's no option to delete the post. Is this a glitch or what?

You need to give away 3 golds to your neighbors a day. Then it goes away.
For me, it did anyway.

Yeah it goes away after you gift 3 people
