Amazing Ambience badge stuck?

Been meaning to ask about this for a while. My Wall Decorations badge has been stuck on 2 of 40 for months. I've gotten almost all other badges but this one doesn't seem to change no matter what I buy. Wall decorations are under the Clock tab, right? My restaurant is below, am I missing something?

There are at least 4 other threads on this. Do a search for "Ambience"

You need to put your wall decorations in storage for them to count towards the badge. Once you get the badge you can take them back out until you have enough for your next badge. Then repeat until you get your gold badge.

Oh, this is how it works on Android devices. Not sure about iDevices.

So I actually have to wait until I have 40 wall decorations and put them all in storage at once? I treed doing a few at a time but didn't work. Is this really how they meant it to work? Seems like a bug in programming.
