Le chat noir vs charteux

Hi everyone (who's now collecting materials to build le chat noir and charteux) . Since both of them need almost the same materials, do you experience something when one of the cat materials are complete and you try to build it? What happen to the other cat materials? Please tell me.

The other materials get reduced by the amount of the first one purchased. I waited til I had 24 red berets, etc before building out the two... Ie, I made sure I had a combined total that equalled or exceeded the sum total of the two.

Yes. I was so surprised to find out my almost complete materials for the charteux suddenly almost empty when I build the black cat. I was soo frustrated and thought it was another bug. :)
