Diamond habitat, no dragon

Here's something I keep running across: people have diamond habitats but no diamond dragon. Why is this?

We're trying to see if having a habitat will increase our chances of breeding a diamond. No luck so far.

I bought the diamond habitat in preparation of the diamond egg, however, I have yet to breed one, lol. I'm hopeful.

If TL keeps playing with habitat limits you could find yourself with a diamond dragon but no habitat as you are over the habitat max.

I have 2 diamond habitats with no diamond in either 1 I dislike myself a little because I tease my own self with it My ID is Laisse2000 if you want to see for yourself!

I think they try and increase the chances of a Diamond, but they may be preparing for the possibility of getting a Diamond. How long does it take the habitat to build?

i think it takes 12 hours, i'm not sure :D

I bought mine in prep for trying for Diamond, and I already had 23 habitats. I wanted to make sure I had a place to put a diamond when I maybe hopefully eventually got one. Now that the habitat limit is up, it's not such a big thing. I've got 5 of each of the other habitats now and my empty diamond habitat is just sitting around lonely. ;)

I get bored with expanding and see no need as I have none of the new dragons i dont have on the way yet so I gregge toy level up by buying and selling diamond habitats as the give 1000 xp every time :)

I have all diamond dragons which is I think 12 and have 11 diamond habitats poor prism has to share with the lower dragons lol....

Is TL gonna ever make a diamond habitat that carries 3 diamond dragons?

Just seems a waist of habitats since theres always a limit...

it would be the solution for the habitat problem AND our diamond draggies would all have a fancy home :)

I bought an extra when they were on sale recently. Doesn't hurt to have one on hand, just in case I manage to breed something to go on it! But with my recent (un)luckiness, it will sit empty :( Can't seem to get anything new on either of my accounts...getting really pissed too! :(

Seriously? I have never heard of such a thing. But I will admit, I have seen quite a few empty diamond habitats and wonered why? Or where are the occupants.

I have two "empty" diamond habitats because my diamond is breeding, and it is breeding a Quetzal, the other dragon I need a diamond habitat for. My diamond so far has rarely ever been in her habitat. Evolving takes 2 days, and then there's also healing in the healing spring and breeding in the Arctic Isles. So it often looks like she's not even there!

This is an older thread when the game first started and players were buying the diamond habitat in hopes of bringing good luck in getting a diamond dragon.
