Hi I got mine with common blue and green. Both level 10. But I know people who got them from hybrid crosses. Read the 'list thread' it's very helpful.

If you used pure water and forest dragons and it takes 20 hrs, there's a big chance you're getting the rare hybrid of that combo (Serpent)!! Good luck! :D

I always get an island when that combo takes 20 hours. I have a neighbour who reports 8 hours for a serpent

Yes I did get an island dragon yay so excited..Took 20 hours but used gold to speed up the process.
