I have reached level 59 to unlock a new appliance but it will not let me ?

I have been working towards level 59 to get a new appliance. I have just reached it but when I went into choose, it will not let me !

This happens to me every time. I force close the app, go back in and it let's me have the appliance.

Do you know how to force close?
