Anyone know what the gift is for mastering a recipe is?

There isn't a gift, only money. I think it is about $10,000, but I could be wrong. It isn't much na matter which way you look at it, especially when you compare it to City and Farm...you might not need or want a river or garden gnome, but at least you get something...

I think we should be allowed to choose our mastery gift from a list of items....we work hard to get there, so we should be allowed to choose our reward!

I think when you master a food like omlettes, a certificate should be awarded and placed on the restaurant wall.

I believe once you master a recipe you get a bonus everytime you cook that recipe again, Atleast that is what it says when you hit the Level 4 Mastery, Plus the gifts (money or a Gem) you get increase each time you master. Still not sure what the Mastery in Gift section is though.

Your mastery level for each food starts out as 0. You get mastery points both when you prepare a food to cook and when you serve a food once it's cooking, and you level up your mastery of that food once you earn enough mastery points. The higher the mastery level you are trying to reach, the more mastery points is required, with level 4 being the highest you can achieve. The reward for reaching each mastery level for food X is as follows:

Level 1: 1,000 coins, 20 XP, 1 serving of X
Level 2: 2,000 coins, 40 XP, 1 serving of X, 1 gem
Level 3: 4,000 coins, 100 XP, 1 serving of X
Level 4: 10,000 coins, 200 XP, 1 serving of X
