Daily bonus increase?

In my experience over the last 6 months, the daily bonus amount ran in the roughly 600 to 3000 coin range, probably averaging about 1200. Never more than 4,000. Today I got more than 7,000 coins, and yesterday I got more than 12,000. :confused: One high number I could have written off to an odd return from the random number generator. But two sounds like a code change at the server level.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in the number of coins you get in the daily "bonus"? Is there any rhyme or reason to this? What about other TL games -- I'm assuming they use the same code for all games.

If I were the suspicious type, I would say that TL is trying to give us extra coins to give is something else to think about other than the infernal Tap To Manage crop "feature". That's IF I were the suspicious type. I'm not. Nope, not me. Just curious about random number generators, especially when they change their behavior.

I get the least for daily bonuses in Farm. Its almost always under 1000 coins, if greater, not by much. I know its not in the 10000 range or that would have caught my attention. I'll check closer after reset tonight.

Maybe the increase wasn't released to Androids.

Otherwise his post doesn't make sense, because if they fixed it on their servers a week ago, he clearly should have read the posts in the last week and seen that there are still huge discrepancies between iOS and Android. And he would have gone back to the devs and told them it wasn't fixed properly rather than post that it was fixed.

Apparently the fix didn't work. If you do a search on "Bonus" you can find a few threads where people have posted their daily bonuses. Many include screenshots from iDevices. The threads were opened on 5/9 and have been posted to daily since then. There haven't been releases to Android since the end of Feb or beginning of Mar, so its probably safe to assume that at least the majority of us are on the latest client versions. We have provided enough information in those threads that you should be able to use to investigate. Can you look at those threads and let us know what is missing, because we're all going to post as we did in the past. Androids can't take screenshots - you need to trust us that we are posting the bonuses we receive.

DW, my info is above, but like Pinkster and nmishii, here is a breakdown from the other posts within this thread. I already told GG via PM that I will track the next 4 days for both Android and iPad 2 for Farm/BS/RS, but I can't guarantee I'll remember to do screen shots. In the AM I just quickly go into my games, clear tips/gifts and appliances/field, send out gifts, and quickly check my wall for anything urgent, then I move on to the next game. I'm too busy first thing trying to get the kids up and ready for school as well as myself out of the house this week, and I'm away this weekend at college graduation/party that I'll only be doing quick check in the AMs, that I may forget or not be able to do screen shots. I will at least right the numbers down for you.

The days don't match up, meaning day 1 on the iPad 2 isn't day 1 on the Android, but if I have the next 4 days you can then compare day 1 to day 1. I doubt this will be "fixed" before the next 4 days are up, considering the devs/eng already think it's fixed. hahaha

I have no idea how TL calculates the daily bonus for these 3 games, but both RS/BS are level 90/91 and neck-n-neck at that, on the iPad 2. One goes up a level and the next day the other one goes up. Both have high volume being pumped out with my overnight earnings anywhere from 60k-100k depending on when I logged in the night before. Usually BS is higher because I log into RS only about 6 hours after I've gone to sleep, whereas BS may go 8-10 hours. Farm also has a constant turn-around in crops being planted/harvested as I'm doing mostly 6-8 hour crops right now, plus trees. There is no deco going on my Farm.

Android games only Farm is slightly active, meaning I have one apple tree and some tulips I planted the other day. I don't do anything with BS/RS but tip myself and send gifts back/forth. I don't cook or have customers there at all. I can't "play" the games on my Android phone, they just don't work well and I'm constantly having connection issues. Hence why they are my back up games.

I'll try to log in and at least give a daily number, but may not be able to so I'll have to give you those days when I can log back in to post. Sorry, but I'm not guaranteed to have access to a computer this weekend, but I will try.

By the way, on Android devices, some devices (Galaxy SII for instance) there is a hardware way of taking screen shots. I have a Galaxy Note and can take screen shots using my S-Pen and have several times, although I will admit I haven't been watching the bonuses, I generally click through them very quickly and ignore them. I guess I will need to watch and post them for the next week. My wife has an iPhone and she mentioned new bonuses this last weekend but I hadn't noticed it.

In my experience over the last 6 months, the daily bonus amount ran in the roughly 600 to 3000 coin range, probably averaging about 1200. Never more than 4,000. Today I got more than 7,000 coins, and yesterday I got more than 12,000. :confused: One high number I could have written off to an odd return from the random number generator. But two sounds like a code change at the server level.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in the number of coins you get in the daily "bonus"? Is there any rhyme or reason to this? What about other TL games -- I'm assuming they use the same code for all games.

If I were the suspicious type, I would say that TL is trying to give us extra coins to give is something else to think about other than the infernal Tap To Manage crop "feature". That's IF I were the suspicious type. I'm not. Nope, not me. Just curious about random number generators, especially when they change their behavior.

Well to be fair here, I hadn't played really this game on my Android, except for the tutorial to get the free gems. So I can't say what would've happened. I still can't really play this game NOW on my Android, nor any TL games. I know it's my phone though, and not TL that's the problem, so I'm hoping to eventually get something else to play the games on Android consistently to really see the differences again. I sometimes can't log in just to accept/gift parts, so it was great foresight I had in getting the iPad within a month of my Android games being inaccessible.

My collectible rate has lowered in most of the games though, and I don't get any when using my Easy Ovens, but I've given up on actively trying to master them on any game.

I didn't write down my figures toda but can tell you that on all three games (farm, bakery, restaurant) my day one daily bonuses were in each case higher than the total of nmishii's 3 games.

Which is ridiculous.

So not only are they sticking it to you by not giving you the goals in bakery so that you can unlock the stupid bread oven so that you at least have a chance of earning THOSE gems from mastering the recipes AND not only are they sticking it to you in bakery because you can't earn all the xp and coins from completing the gems, they've been sticking it to you all along by in not even giving you the proper daily bonus!!

And then come on here and post such a ridiculous post to say it was fixed already. Question is, what did you get BEFORE it was fixed? Less than the pittance you're getting now? -.-

They've been sticking it to us all along. My bonus ranges haven't changed at all, before or after them being fixed.

There's no apparent reason why there should be that large a discrepancy in bonuses. And it appears its been that way all along.

There's no reason why they can't give us the bread oven outside of the goals; its no different than giving us the Treat Dispenser or other constructables. There's no reason why they can't give us the recipes and crops that were from the goals.

Androids haven't had a major update since just before Xmas, and that was for most, not all, of the content that iOS had since Sept. So Androids haven't gotten the new features released in client updates that iOS has gotten since October.

We did get Pet Shop Story and Zoo Story 2 in March and Kindle has gotten new games. It looks like they're putting their efforts into bring new games to Android rather than bringing up the existing games to parity.

It doesn't appear that there will be a change in the near future. It appears it will only get worse for existing games.

That ain't gonna work since I can't keep a connection long enough to even plow a row. It took me 3 tries just to accept GGs invite to my Android BS so she could pass the goal and have another neighbor to expand. My access to TL games via my phone has significantly gotten worse each week that goes by. I'm just waiting for the day I can't connect at all to accept/send gifts. Maybe the next system update for the Bionic will help resolve it, but I doubt it. The last one was supposed to, and instead it made it worse than it was before. *sigh*

Why are we bothering to continue to do their jobs for them? We buy gems, that supplies their salaries, bills, and etc..... Let them hire their own Quality Assurance Team, I have no idea why we keep doing it for free for them. I'm not going to anymore. I'm done helping them out when they can't even be bothered to actually give us honest answers. We get the same tired old answers that aren't even honest, they are just excuses.

Lol! They only ask us to provide info as a stalling tactic so it looks like they want to do something! Busy work I think it's called! Ive noticed that the things that get fixed happen straight away, all the other "problems" are either by design, or they just don't care enough to bother.

It will probably stay that way as "they" were right, they did "FIX IT", they just only "FIXED IT" for Android. See, they neglected to implement this "FIX" into iOS yet, but it's coming most likely. Anything to make it harder to earn coins is the motto, don't ya know! Nothing was ever broken, they just haven't lowered the daily bonus on iOS yet, but now that we've supplied them with all this data on how much iOS is getting compared to Android, I'm sure whatever "FIX" was put on the servers catered to Android will be implemented on the iOS servers post haste! Hence, the SILENCE.
