When I first started playing Pet Hotel Story, I made rough calculations on which rooms that brought the most profit to decide what to build. With my growing fixation, very soon, it was clear which rooms I preferred and which rooms I found totally worthless. I started spending my time putting down my calculations and thoughts in long posts to each person that had needed profit advice. In that same sharing spirit, I thought it would be benefitial and helpful for everyone if there was a sheet that made it easy to compare different rooms to another, both in terms of coins and experience points. In this sheet I've decided to not include the cost of rooms in my calculations as the price varies from player to player. Another thing I'm not including in my calculations on the sheet but I want you to take in consideration is that each room takes different amount of space (squares).
If you have a big hotel and a lot of space to work on, you might not find the "per square profit" important but if you have limited space to work on or want to squeeze in as much profit as possible in every single square available, I recommend you divide the amount on "per hour profit" into the amount of squares a room takes.

Example;
A). $6,000/hr divided by 3 (squares) = $2,000/hr&square
B). $4,500/hr divided by 2 (squares) = $2,225/hr&square
At first glance, it might look like A is more profitable but taking space into consideration - B makes almost 12% more.

In this post, I've listed the 3 most beneficial pet rooms build in terms of earning coins. (I've included 3 other, imho, valuable rooms that are worth mentioning). However, I've decided to not include rooms that costs gems in this list because not everyone buys gems. If players that buy gems are interested in a list of most profitable gem costing rooms, I'll do a seperate list if requested :)

* Constructible Room

MOST BENEFICIAL PET ROOM
Sultan Suite
+ 19,400 Coins
+ 15 Exp. Points
Every 4 Hours
= $4,850 & 3.75 XP /hr

SECOND MOST BENEFICIAL PET ROOM
Painted Canyon*
+ 30,100 Coins
+ 5 Exp. Points
Every 12 Hours
= $2,508 & 0.4 XP /hr

THIRD MOST BENEFICIAL PET ROOM
Ballet Studio*
+ 13,000 Coins
+ 8 Exp. Points
Every 6 Hours
= $2,166 & 1,35 XP /hr

WORTH MENTIONING
Ramen Stand*
+ 4,500 Coins
+ 23 Exp. Points
Every 1 Hour
= $4,500 & 23 XP /hr
Reason: This is an exeptionally profitable fun room, the ONLY fun room that is worth considering building more than 1 of. The only room that makes brings more coins hour wise is Sultan Suite. The only downside is that it must be collected every single hour.

Royal Bedroom
+ 8,900 Coins
+ 30 Exp. Points
Every 5 Hours
= $1,780 & 6 XP /hr
Reason: This room is a hidden gem! At first glance it might look like an average room profit wise but this room only takes up 1 square! That means, square wise, this is the most profitable room after Sultan Suite and Ramen Stand.

Ballroom
+ 1,400 Coins
+ 6 Exp. Points
Every 2 Hours
= $700 & 3 XP /hr
Reason: This room is a great room for relatively new players! It costs less than 10,000 to complete and only takes a day of active collecting (1 collect every 2 hrs) to get back the coins it took to build. Great investment!

This is awesome! It might also be helpful to calculate hourly earnings divided by the number of squares it takes up.

In this post, I've listed the 5 most beneficial rooms build in terms of earning XPs.
Note that Tea Room and Ramen Stand are Fun Rooms and the former is a gem costing room.

Great minds think alike! I was too lazy to do it on the entire chart but I was going to do it on the selected rooms but I realized that the only rooms would climb the "most beneficial rooms' ladder" are all gem costing rooms and as I decided to to exclude those in my list of "most beneficial rooms" because many players don't buy gems, the "per square profit" won't be vital. In lower earning rooms the "per square profit" might be vital but I wouldn't bother doing calculations on those. Hope my calculations help to some extent :)

Thanks for the list!I actually did a spreadsheet on google docs yesterday with all those items. I'm short a few rooms, since I can't see them at my level. I actually have a bunch of sports fields in there as well for XP. I'll say goodbye to them when I hit 20:)

I updated it with the data you have (that's beyond my level). I'm still missing 1. goal based pet rooms 2. # of squares per pet room....since I don't own them.

My calculation is on per minute basis, but it really doesn't matter. You just want to sort them in the way you want and look at the relative values.

just got the toy block roomnow I know why you don't list it.....it gives you pretty much nothing when I rate it on per minute basis......
It IS pretty cute though.

Just a note: i think that the tea room gives 80 xp every 30 minutes and not 12 and that makes it the most profitable room in xp.

Thanks again for the great work!

You're totally right .. And it's so strange I managed to get it wrong when I know for a fact that the Tea Room is the highest earning XP room. Typos while using numbers are unforgiveble. Hehe I'll ask Kooky to correct it ..

According to queentina, TL are tweaking the prices since it's a new game to see what will be best. It happened with PSS too. I think. :o

I don't think PinkStarBelly was concerned about the sports field at all. No one in their right mind can keep up with collecting every 6 minutes:-D

I have 20 of them and I collect once or twice an hour. I only have them because they are all I can afford.
They are slowly replaced with sultan suites, royal bedrooms and ramen stands.

Mine is 250 too. I think I have the highest prices on everything!!! The expansion costs and wait times are just plain disgusting. I was only level 15 and it cost me 500,000 and 4 days to expand! That should be the cost when we're on level 30 or higher, not this soon! It takes FOREVER to make 500 grand! Ugh. I might stop playing until its not so new and they've worked out these awful kinks...

Hello everyone! Long time no see! Sorry for have being so absent on Pet Hotel's subforum! Thanks for all the compliments! I'm very glad that my sheets has been useful to more than a handful people, makes my time and effort totally worth it :) I've received some msgs about my wrong calculations on a few rooms that I've looked into and yes, I definitely got a few (strange) uncorrect numbers. Makes me think of something my old math teacher told be many years ago before every exam: "Take your time to look over your calculations and numbers before handing in your exam because unlike having typos while writing an essay, typos in the mathematical world is unforgivable". Hehe! I'll ask kooky to correct them tomorrow when I'm on my laptop that has all the sheets and codings. I'll also but more colors to enhance some numbers. Stay tuned fellow hotel owners :D

I bought my Tea Room for 178 Gems and according to the information, I get 400 coins and 80 experience points every 30 minutes? Isn't that a good thing? I will get 160 experience each hour. I don't mind about the coins since I have Sultan Suite that gets me more coins.

Right now, I want to level up and then I want to earn enough coins for the expansions.

Took this one step further, built a spreadsheet. It's missing some info, but should be open for editing so if you know the value please fill it in.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Avts8ZCNlaFudE1GWVY3R1dmR2VMTnhrUTNfTW9RU 0E#gid=0 (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Avts8ZCNlaFudE1GWVY3R1dmR2VMTnhrUTNfTW9RU 0E#gid=0)

Thx for the spreadsheet, it's very helpful! I just started playing today so im not sure if i am missing something or if there's been an increase but the inital price (before decorating) for the Game Room on my device is 12,800 but 6,400 on the sheet.

I bought the Trapeze Room for 150 gems; i had the gems and didn't really want anything else at this point so thought it was a good way to go. it gives 1600 coins and 80 XP's every hour. I'll eventually purchase the Climbing Wall once I've secured the parts . . . don't want to spend the money and then have to wait around for the parts.

After taking over a month's break, I'm excited to see that there's lots of new rooms. A few that has caught my eyes. I'm especially excited about the room Sauna, it acually beats the all mighty Sultan Suite both profit and EXP (AND it only takes up half the space, 1 square). But then again, it costs a whooping 4.13 million coins and another additional 2.891 million in decoration fee so it needs to be bad*ss!! Aside from the super duper high price, it does take 22 hrs to construct which I hate since Sultan Suite only takes a few seconds. I have 3 Saunas ready in a few hours. Stop by my hotel if you guys are interested in seeing it :)
