Sorry if this has already been done somewhere already but I had a quick look and couldn't see it. Sooo, notwithstanding that having different options and combinations is a good thing, what is your preferred cooking time?

I like the under an hour, or around 8 hour recipes.

I tend to be very forgetful when playing. lol :)

Depends on time of day and if i am off from work etc.... when off i can spend more time
doing the 1 hour stuff. At night before bed i do an 8 hour one. In the middle of the day
2 to 6 hour ones when working. There is no one preferred time. lol

I like the 2-6 hours ones. I can place during the days , but still with the 6 hour, I can stretch that to almost 12 hours, so I can send run a batch overnight while sleeping.

I like them all except the 2 day recipes. When I'm on holiday or weekends and I have time then I like the short order recipes. When I have to work the 12, 16 and 1 day recipes are handy.

I like the 16 the least. I can never get them to sync up right on any of my games. Other than that I'm not picky. I like having a good mix of short and medium length (8 or less).

Too bad I can't

I like one day recipes. Especially during the work week.

These days I like 12 hour or 1-2 day recipes. As Kooky said, 6 hour recipes are not bad since they can be stretched to 12 hours. And 8 hours are always good for night time.
For some strange reason I am soooooo opposed to those 16 hour recipes. lol. I cannot explain it, but they just seem so unreasonable. lol.

For me, I have the most difficulty with the 14-hr recipes. If I'm trying to master the dish by only cooking/baking 14-hr recipes, it seems like I'm always quickly getting to where the recipe will be ready in the middle of the night. I typically try to serve my dishes shortly after they are ready, although that is hard to keep up with.

Omg me too! They're just so... Hate able to me! I just hate them!:p

I like the 6-10 the most. But I kinda wish there were like 1 week recipes for when we're on vacation.

A 1 week dish would rock. Wonder how many plates you would get and how much per serve.

This is an awesome topic ^_^ I recently started working 6 days a week so if I don't bake 12-18 my stuff spoils lol. Some days I'm home nearly midnight and rootless to even mess with the game, so 12-18 is safe. When I'm home and can keep up, I def like 6-12hr foods.

A one week is very interesting! All the people on vacation would prolly like it very much. Something like that should get at least 2 gems per mastery level lolz

Oopsie autocorrect above lol! Not rootless, I meant too tired bahaha. Think if they made a one week food it'd need a new appliance (jk jk lol)

I prefer 8 hours because i can bake my food beore i go to sleep and serve them when i wake up. Then i'll bake another food that bakes for about 12 hours before going to school. :)

Same, but I don't mind the 6-10 either. 2-6 and 6-10 are my favorites.

my fav are 8 -12 because I can do it during the day and when I am sleeping. If TL makes a week recipe it would probably give around 15,000 servings and xp would be around 800 and coins gained around 90,000 and cost around 10,000-20,000.

3-6 hrs during the day, allows time for school work.
8 hrs for sleep during the weekdays & during the day for work.
10-12 hrs for sleep during the weekends.

1-2 day(s) ones for my other device.

1 wk ones would be good for vacations, but then would hate the wait if I so happen to check in during the vacation, LOL :D

I don't know why but I did very well with Treat Dispencer's 14hrs Leafy Smoothie. I mastered all my 8-12hrs recipes already so I'm doing lots of 16-18hrs durings night time now and I just really don't like them. I normally prepare longer recipes starting 10 PM at the earliest but with the stuff doesn't get done until at the middle of next day. I like taking stuff out of the ovens when I wake up. More 14 hrs recipes please!!!

Aside fron longer recipes for overnight, I like 1-5hrs. I'd like more variety on 1, 3 and 5 hrs. We have so much of the even hours like 2, 4 and 6 hrs already.

I think a 1 week recipe would be so cool!! Aside from vacation, what if you're super busy with school during mid-terms and can't afford to spend too mich time on the game. At least you know you're still getting some baking done. That recipe should imho give us a high coins-per-plate price though. I'm so sick of all the new 4 coins plates and the massive amount of plates. Quality over quantity, thank you very much!!

I prefer 2-6 hours (4-6 really), and 1 day (that are actually 22 hours). Others are ok, just sometimes I forget the shorter ones ( ;) ), and I get impatient with the longer ones.

I wish recipes could be categorized by time not just cookies, cakes, pies, etc. there needs to be more choice as to how we can personally arrange our recipe boxes.

This would be a huge timesaver, instead of flicking through the entire recipe book to find the ones that fit my timeframe!

I love the 2-6 ones during the day, and then overnight I put on the 8 hour ones but my schedule is perfect for 16 hour ones if I put them on before I go to sleep, so everything's good for me :D

I use 10-18 hours most, usually never have time to get online in the mornings D:

i like to bake for 1hr when im free (usually on holidays). but 2-6 hrs suits me when i have to go to sch: ) and of course an 8hrs one would be the best for a good night sleep ~

I like 22 HR recipes, very reasonable without taking over real life. Nice thing about 22HR vs. 24H is that if you check your shop around the same time every day, but naturally get to it a little later some days, it still puts you back to around the same time, so if you're late teo get to it several times it won't creep up and be too late to check when you can't play.

I don't have a preference but I very much dislike the 2day recipes. They just don't make sense and take too long. I love being on the app so 1 hour recipes are great but I like them all really for different reasons. The shorter recipes I don't quite care for, because usually the profit isn't worth it, lol. Gotta make mega bucks and save up for my 4mill expansion. :O

I like 22 hr recipes, they don't spoil quickly, the xp you get from them is big and they usually rake in a fair amount of coins like the red velvet cake for example and the love potion, sugar cookies even the valentine cookies...

It all depends on what I'm doing and how busy I am, which determines when I'll be back to serve it, so they all work quite well at one point or another.

I always have at least 2 ovens cooking a 2 day recipe. The rest range from 4-12 hours. It seems like it's the only way I can get ahead $$-wise in the game.
