Kooky & GG,

The food XP has changed. I know that Fireapples is now 8xp instead of 16xp. I'm not sure on the longer timed ones, as I don't plant them now that TL decreased the quantities, but considering that Fireapples was 16xp and is now 8xp, I'm goign to assume at the moment that they cut them in half as well.

Does anyone want to be the guinea pig and test those others out and see what the new XP is for planting them?

Hi what combination did you use to get the Titan Dragon? Everyone seems to have one now but I failed with Magic level 10 + Fire level 10 which gave me Charm.

I actually got it first time with level 6 magic and level 6 fire.

I just got a wizard dragon while breeding lvl 6 magic with a lvl 6 water dragon.

Spent weeks trying to get a fairy dragon or a eagle dragon..
Gave up after a while so I bought a water dragon.
First time I breed it, got a Mindvolt.
Now a Purple dragon. And now breeding a Seabreeze. :p

I think I've got Planet in breeding... It's 19 hrs from Magic 6 and Fire 6

The current theories are:

Breed two hybrids that have all colurs between them
Breed hybrids including a magic one
Use recessive genes

As far as I'm aware no ones got one yet. If a forum member got one the'd definitely post. They'd also post if they saw someone with one.

I saw one!!!! In Sineys hide. Breed a firestorm and a bleu, she said! I'm trying now! ;)

I have a Magic 7 and Fire 10, so I tried it. I don't know what I have but it is 16 hours so it isn't a Titan.

LMAO. I can't even get the Serpent, let alone a Diamond. I haven't even been able to get an Atlantis or a Planet and those came out last week. I doubt I'll get a Titan or Wizard anytime soon. :(

Yes the Serpent must have taken one look at my islands and said "no way" because no matter what I do I can't breed one. Charm, Coral, and Genie are now turning into my new Fruitful/Island hates. I can't seem to stop breeding them. The only good thing out of the past few days breeding is I got another 2 Mindvolts and a few more Mists out of it. If I'm going to end up not getting what I want when I breed something, at least getting these 2 lessens the blow a bit, since they bring in some good coin.

Lol I got mine when I wasn't trying to get him he just came also with the Atlantis I guess finally my luck is starting to change cuz I have the worst luck I've ever seen someone has and what really bugged me is in my last biology test I didn't study or even read the whole book and in the test I answered 14 of the multiple choice by luck and ALL of them were wrong I was rly mad lol

Hi guys,

You are all breeding those exclusive super rare dragons, while I'm still breeding charms and corals. No mindvolt yet, but while I have to wait for my charm egg to hatch I decided to breed magic and water and that resulted in a coral, I don't have yet so that's good. And then it's back to my challenge of getting that mindvolt.

I will do a little dance if (when) I get one!

Titan = Magic + Fire
Wizard = Magic + Water

I haven't been able to breed either of those, I keep getting Coral's and Charm's, but others have been successful using those combos.

At level 30+, i can earn 100000+ coins a day, higher level, u can get more. It create unbalance between new players and veteran players.

That is most likely a Titan. Check how much gold it would cost to speed it up. Titan shows up as 2 days even though it's 32 hours.

It took me forever to get an Eagle. Finally got one. I kept getting firestorms. I easily got an atlantis, a Seabreeze, and a planet. I have a Titan on the way. Still need a wild, a mind volt, a diamond and a wizard.

FINALLY GOT A SERPENT ON THE DEN. Used the same Forest dragon that got me my Fairy and used the Same Water dragon that got me my Mindvolt. Ironically, when I was taking my 9th Island from the den and replacing the dragons to breed, my cousin was taunting me by saying I'll never get a Serpent. Irony never felt so glorious.

How many tries does it take to get diamond?

Usually about 1 in 100. Every 100 times you breed one of them will be diamond. It could be your first try, or hundredth. I myself haven't yet but I'm getting more rare dragons every time I breed. 1st time island. 10th time serpent. 15th mindvolt. Getting rarer every time!
Anyway good luck in getting that diamond.

After seriously 20 different Fruitful dragons, I got my first fairy at level 29. Tried everything... yellow+green, green+yellow, green+fruitful, yellow+fruitful, fruitful+fruitful... Low levels. High levels. It doesn't matter at all. It ended up working on the 4th try in a row with a level 10 yellow and level 10 fruitful. So this is just some decent evidence out there that the level of the dragons don't matter at all. It's entirely luck.

I dont know if i'm just lucky, or it really means smthing, but i get my titan by breeding magic+charm, so the colors are purple red purple. Then i breed magic+coral; purple blue purple and i get 22 hours breeding time so it seems i'm getting wizard. So maybe that's how to get rare dragons(?)

I think a lot has to do with luck. I got all the rare dragons on the first try (don't have diamond yet), but it took me forever to get an Eagle. I still need a mindvolt, wild and diamond.

Hi all just to let u know I got diamond egg by breeding genie and atlantas. Genie was shu at level 8 and Atlantas was nakata at level 6 however I think it is just luck and u can probably get from any combination. I was trying for ages to get one using island and firestorm but no luck it was only when I gave up trying that I got one.

Genie ( purple and yellow) Atlantis is blue and green and you get purple with red and blue

So yes it has. Blue green yellow and red it can work

Purple is coded as an individual colour, so no, that combo is missing red.

I got mine with genie and atlantas one of my neighbours got one with mindvolt and wild but I think it is just pure luck i tried so many times with island and firestorm but had no luck it was only when I gave up trying and decided to try for a wizard that I got the diamond.

I finally got my fairy dragon! Yay!! I got it from sm epic air and level 4 fruitful. I've tried to get a fairy soo many times and just kept getting fruitful but since I've been using epic dragons for breeding, getting rare dragons have been soo much easier :) the same was true for my first eagle.

If this is true, then possibly rare dragons in epic form could produce an ultra-rare diamond? Instead of Island and Firestorm like I have been doing, I could possibly use my Serpent and Eagle (Serpent level 7, Eagle 10) to breed a Diamond? Or if later I hatch a seabreeze it could increase chances even more? My neighbor used a serpent to breed her two diamonds, so possibly this could really be true.

Ok, I've had my luckiest day, ever!!! My Titan hatched. Then went to breed more after a charm was ready and got 22 hours. I knew I had a wizard or Mindvolt going. I've been trying for a Mindvolt for what seems like forever. It's my last of the original dragons but the diamond.

So I sped it up and found a.......Wizard. Then I put on a blue and yellow to try for a new dragon because I'm over mindvolts now. I got another 22 hours. I got a Mindvolt today too! woo hoo, I'm so excited today!

I am breeding an Atlantis with a Level 9 Forest and Level 4 Serpent. I tried earlier with a higher level serpent and Forest but got another serpent (the one I'm using now).

I'm going to wait patiently for it over night, it's ****ing me!!! I only need a planet and a Diamond, then I will be complete.

Anyone have good luck with a planet?

Not all of them I bred a dragon sry I don't remember the name but it took 16 hours to breed and then 15 hours to hatch maybe it was a bug or something but this is what happend

To get a Diamond I'm trying to breed my Epic Eagle with a level 8 Serpent but I keep getting 20 hour breed times, last time it was a purple egg. Any other 20 hour breeding times? So far I have 2 magic dragons and this is my third. Every time I bred them, Spira and Pine, 2/3 magic. And I don't know if this one is a magic either.

I can't remember where i saw this post but they said a Charm & Poison make a Titan dragon. So i tried it with my Charm lv 6 & my Poison lv 4 & got a life dragon. Then I tried again but i switch them around and i had to wait 2 days and i finished the breeding time today and the egg is a Titan :)

My next expansion was priced 200k, today I just paid 1M for it.

I'm not too bothered, they had to nerf it at some point - I was accumulating and accumulating money with nothing really to spend it on! It was taking me so long to get the maps/clear the expansion space that in the meantime I had earned 5 x the cost!

you certainly need the patience of a saint to play DS!!! After waiting 3 days to acquire enough maps to expand plus a day for the actual expansion, I now have yet another mouldy boulder to remove that will take another 2 days. Breeding den is clogged up with a breeding that I don't want and an egg on the nest that I also don't want and it takes forever to get enough apples to evolve a dragon to epic form.

To earn enough money to do anything you need to fill all available space with habitats, so you can't make it look nice and if you want to make it look nice you can't store anything when moving it around.

But........ the dragons are cute, and for all the exasperations it causes me, I do love this game :D:D

Thank you for this Dragon Story Bible! Could it possibly be enhanced with a consolidation of what to breed to get the specific dragons, please? There are a few tips scattered throughout the forum. Great work here!

There is a handy table of the color combination of each common/rare hybrid, somewhere in the update threads. And there is a breeding thread in the first page of the forum.

Other than that, the easy way is to check the market picture of the dragon and what colors it uses, then just breed two dragons that have those two colors (the only "secrets" are magic dragon - red/blue, and diamond dragon - any 4 different colors). Most of the time you will get the common hybrid, but with luck and perseverance you can get the rare one.

That's the game in a nutshell.

Breed Coral with water for the Wizard (I had mine the first time I tried with this combo) or try Magic with water ^^
also had my seabreez the first time I tried but I don't remember the combo :/
And titan, maybe charm with fire ^^

Each time I see a new combo for Diamond I jot it down, so here goes:- Eagle/Island, Eagle/Serpent, Serpent/Firestorm, Genie/Life, Mindvolt/Life, Mist/Wild, Genie/Atlantis, Eagle/Atlantis. None of these are my theory's, but I tried a few with no luck :( If what everyone believes is true, any combo including Red,Green,Yellow and Blue could result in a Diamond.

Finally did it. Level 32. Mist baking on nest #1. Fruitful finished up breeding. Firestorm Gust7 in the evolution chamber.

I chose Coral8 Wonk to make a little magic with Fairy8 Cloud = 2 Days or 44 bars of gold to breed.....Yellow/Green with a Purple/Blue.

Woo hop finally. I've been breeding my level 10 firestorm and my level 10 island like mad.
Got some good dragons but I was looking for one thing. Finally I got a two day breeding time. I waited with much hope and yes it's a diamond egg.

Hey, the food prices have remained the same but the output amount has gone down by quite abit:

No change to Impruberries
No change to Buffbeets
Firapples Output has reduced to 50 although cost is still 650 and time is still an hour
Pumpwings Output has reduced to 225 although cost is still 3,200 and time still 5 hours
Eliteleeks Output has reduced to 325 although cost is still 5,500 and time still 8 hours
Scalypears Output has reduced to 700 although cost is still 13,000 and time still 20 hours

Looks like everything after buffbeets have been reduced in Output by half while time and cost still remain the same.
Because of this I now only plant Impruberries and spam plant them.. The halving of output makes each food so expensive and not worth it..

Also regarding habitat costs which have increased:

Big Green Grove is now 15,000
Big Yellow Plateau is now 45,000
BLue Lagoon is now 10,000
Big Blue Lagoon is now 60,000
Purple Gardens is now 24,000
Big Purple Gardens is now 180,000
Diamond Fields now 100,000

Looks like everything has been increasing in price like mad.. Crazy inflation for I don't know what reason.

I've been trying (and trying, and trying) to breed a diamond. Lately I've been using an epic firestorm and an epic island. I know I've gotten at least one fairy from that combo, along with other levels of those two. I have 3 or 4 faries now, but still no diamond :(

I tried fire with magic and fire with charm all giving me another charm dragons
Both epic and level 4.

Try mist first then air I got my seabreeze first try with that but it took my son 4 tries with the same combination... But it does work

Each time I see a new combo for Diamond I jot it down, so here goes:- Eagle/Island, Eagle/Serpent, Serpent/Firestorm, Genie/Life, Mindvolt/Life, Mist/Wild, Genie/Atlantis, Eagle/Atlantis. None of these are my theory's, but I tried a few with no luck :( If what everyone believes is true, any combo including Red,Green,Yellow and Blue could result in a Diamond.

For a Seabreeze I used epic water first then epic air. Got it first try. Just used epic water and epic magic and have a 22 hour breed time so I think it's a Wizard.. I gave up trying for a diamond for now.

No, you just have breed all four colours (red, blue, green & yellow) Firestorm/Island is just one example.

Took lots of tries but here are the combos I used(I used level 6 dragons)

planet - magic then fire
atlantis- water then forest
diamond- island then firestorm
mistmoth-magic then water
Forestfire- Fire then wild

Just keep trying with different combos...it's all luck of the draw. Some ppl get the ones they want on the first try, but most take lots of different times trying

I got a Wizard Dragon when I completed my breeding this morning when I woke up lol It didn't even show up at first it was just a blank spot in the nest with the timer floating over it so I was like omg what on earth did I do??? >___< But after a bit it showed up, a purpley egg with little white stars on it :)

Used Max Level Magic and a Level 9 Water Dragon. When I saw the egg I was like "Eh? Wut iz that??" lol I seem to get all sorts of random dragons that I wasn't going for when I try random breeding but when I try breeding one I actually WANT.... I never get it... *sigh*

Sorry, but I'm confused as to what you are asking. The mistmoth dragon has purple wings and the fairy dragon has green and yellow wings. If you're asking about the eggs, the first page of this thread has pictures of them with the name of the dragons.

Yes. Can be also obtain by Life + Fire. I got it on my Lv 7. LOL

Highly recommend for those lower levels to breed this. At level 6, Forestfire is giving 864/hr.

It's not a lost cause anymore than any other breeding with 4 different colors. The chances to get a diamond may be as low as winning in a lottery, but if you don't buy the ticket you will never win. :-)

I would recommend just checking what OTHER rares you are missing, and selecting your colors so you have the most chances of getting them as a side effect, while keeping the diamond as an option as the main prize. If you have them all, select the colors based on the combined lowest breeding times.

As a guess at the probability.. If a rare is a 20% chance, maybe the diamond is a 4% chance (20% x 20%). Unless TL discloses the odds (like any other respectable lottery), we can only guess based on the result threads this far..
