stuck at 18 gems for couple wks

Hi i've been stuck at 18 gems for a few weeks now. I was earning them pretty quickly but I seem stuck at 18...do you not earn anymore after 18 and only have to buy? I was saving for the fireplace.

Yes I am mastering food and getting a window that says contests and I get coin and stars but no longer gems. Will email them

You earn gems on level 2 and 4 so you probably earn the ones at level 2 since you said quickly but to get to me level 4 takes some time
