Gift indicator doesn't appear on farm

The only way I know if I have pending gifts is if I go to the News feed. Sigh....

My farm is looking mighty bare. Can't replace mastered trees (now in inventory) with any other crop because most are planted on the half space.

The news icon pops up for half a second when you first start the game with a little antenna over it. I catch it out of the corner of my eye and then its gone but at least I know something is waiting for me if I'm paying enough attention.

hmmm...i lost that several updates ago and never got it back.

Mine used to occasionally appear, but now completely gone. Like bobbyrae, I lost it several updates ago. Now it doesn't even flash.

Me too. At first it was replaced with an add for another game. Now I catch a flash every few weeks.
