It sounds like a close call, but the odds of actually hitting us are nil. I'm not going to worry about asteroids since there isn't anything I can do anyway. It's much more useful to worry about paying my bills...something I have some control over at least.

I read on another site that chance of impact is a 1-in-67,000. Anyway it's not that likely to happen.

I'm not sure if this was serious or sarcastic. If I offended you with my reply that certainly wasn't my intention. I was just thinking about how I have enough in my life to worry about and reminding myself as much as anything not to worry about the stuff I cannot change! :)

No....just a freezer full of food and a natural gas generator.

Besides, a 175 ft. asteroid won't make THAT big an impact...whatever caused Tunguska was probably larger than that.

lol... bring your own cow-coke? I haven't got a freezer full of food. wouldn't do much good in an apocalypse anyhow, since I haven't got a generator. but I do have a good emergency supply of dry foods and water, in case of earthquakes, you know. and I imagine an asteroid that size would cause quite a bit of ground shaking.
