No, you can only buy gems through the games. What is your issue? Do you have a blank screen or processing takes to long?

If you are playing on iphone, ipad, etc, this message normally means that when you first downloaded the game, you downloaded it under a different itunes account.
Delete your current game (our game will be saved) and redownload it to your device.
