I cant get chef points ot food levels. PLEASE HELP!!!

I just started playing this game and for some reason it will not give me chef points or level up on my food. Its very frustrating and if I can't figure it out I'm going to uninstall the game. Please help!!!

You talking about mastering recipes? You just started right? Mastery levels start at level 8 :)

No problem :) when I started a second restaurant I was also confused because I didn't have mastery points
