Replanting a plot with something different.

Maybe I've just missed it somewhere...I'm used to Bakery and Restaurant where if I accidentally start cooking the wrong thing or change my mind I can go back into the appliance and change the recipe. In farm when I'm planting several rows and want to change to a different plant part way through or some similar activity happens I sometimes accidentally get one plot planted with the wrong plant. Is there a way to change it without having to sell that square and re-plow from scratch?

I either sell the plot or move it to another part of the farm.

I didn't pay attention to the coins in RS and BS, but I thought if you changed what you were cooking you lost the coins from the first thing you started, which is like selling a plot in Farm.

Sorry I just noticed I posted this in the wrong section. Should have gone to Farm Story Discussion area. Oh well. At least I got it in the right game! :D

Ok, I figured that was the case, both on on the selling the plot and loss of coins but thought I'd ask in case I missed something. Thanks! :)
