Both look lovely. And I just bought 50 gems in a 30% sale.... (yes yes, I know, so much for my vow to never give this company another cent! lol)
And I have to say that pond looks nice than my log pond which has been my favourtie so far.
However, if it's 40 gems (liek the hot spring) I might not get it after all. We'll see.

Now, for somethign to connect the sevral water features I have by now: What could be useful here I wonder....?

The windmill is also really cute. it would be nice if it was rather little and for coins - something cutesie to fit the gnomehouse and the fairy stuff.

With one dollar equal to fifty bucks i won t bother spilling on gems no matter how attracti e the updates are. I d rather feed some orphans. Also some items Don t come to all earns like the ranch and patio table. I never got them at all. Team lava is too contended to bother. Well cul those who reach level 96 must be offered an online store to get all items they missed and want after all the hard work. One last thing goals which are missed by some must be offered for coins to enable re doing the goals.

Well I'm a Tuesday gal yet again. That's ok though, since I'm not interested in the box, couldn't care less about a dressed up dog (which I did get the offer for) and I'm not touching a 2 day flower for months. The only thing I'll be purchasing will be the tree, and since a good chunk of my farm already has trees out to master, I can wait without any disappointment for Tuesday to come around.

This is the very reasons I stay away from FS boxes..I refuse to buy them, they are the worst of all the games, I asked my neighbors that managed to get a good Item from the box how many tries it took .most of them got a lot of junk .that they say will stay in inventory because of the pure shame.I don't think its fair to have to spend a ton of money on a bunch of Items we don't want in hope of getting one nice item. So very sad. And most of us don't mind buying gems but there are a lot of things about the game. That only benefit the developers

I really do believe it is great to speak with the community, I think some people here are really great and funny, and I love coming here to read and help when I can.

But besides this, doesn't it aim at letting people suggest things, give ideas, express themselves, say what they like, and what they dislike???
Some people have been so disappointed by the chest items offer from two weeks ago, and I can oh so much understand those who had spent so much money to get the items and seen them for sale... Some say they are ready to buy beautiful items for gems, when not a ridiculous expense, but not in chests as it is too hazardous... and what do we get? a new chest!
People have been requesting some stuff for so long (like water tiles :D ) and still can't have them.
Most people (note that I didn't say "All") have asked for shorter term crops, and what do we get?? A two day flower!!

So what?? In the end, what's the use of asking, suggesting, answering polls if they remain deaf to our voices? Isn't a company supposed to listen to their customers' desires?

No use saying I am disappointed by this update, obviously the worst ever since I started to play.

All I can say is I AGREE. People have been asking for water features, and now that TL gives us some they make it a 1st place prize in a box that almost nobody gets without spending hundreds of dollars taking chances. We've been begging for 1-3 hour crops and instead they keep giving us 22 hr or 46 hour crops. At this point there really is NO USE in answering polls or giving the Mods any suggestions as TL just takes what we want and puts them in boxes or does the complete opposite of what we ask.

Maybe reverse pyschology is in order and we should BEG for a 1 week crop, maybe then we'll get a 1 hour one. Maybe if we BEG for more boxes, they'll stop giving them to us. Maybe if we BEG to NOT have expansions and water features, we'll finally get them? I pretty much have given up at this point, as they claim to listen and want feedback but they don't use it, or they use it against us at this point. I won't be shocked if this post gets edited since I'm probably breaking a forum rule by stating my opinion and feelings on what is going on, as I think that is also a no-no. :(

I don't like/buy the boxes because of the random aspect and 4th prizes are usually not worth the 24-gem gamble. But they'll keep doing it if people keep buying them, no matter what the feedback on the forum is. I do wish they'd release shorter-term flowers at the least. Thanks for buying all that stuff again, Yanoshka. I think you saved us all boatloads of money.
The design of that house is pants. (Beige plastic looking wings out of a weird looking box with an oddlooking tree inside? Who designed this? The goddaughter of the TLs CEO?)
Some of the smaller bits and bobs are cute, I like the arch, bench and flower box - but not for that money. Nothing is very original.
And although the pond is nice, it is in no way worth the gamble. The lilies are pretty but a square pond?? I do get that it makes maximum use of the space but still - the log pond is better, imo.
and peonies are much nicer than that.

On a bright side: The shamrock is still with us! Yay! (Ok, so are the other green items, but still, one more week where I can use al my plot the way I want without having to 'save' some shamrock.)

Why would they remove our posts?? Can't we say what we think? Can we only say positive things?
We do say some positive things, when there are some.
One can only grow and improve through one's mistakes, we only need to listen to others and take a look at oneself. One cannot only want to hear good things, because we need to accept that we also do wrong things.

Here we have just said the truth, and the truth is that we don't fell we are being listened to.
This is not agressivisity, this is not vulgar, this is just an observation.

When you double tap on a plowed land and the pop-up for crops opens, the Red Chrysanthemum for gem is on the first page!

I don't know how you proceed when you plant, but on my side, I usually start a long line, tapping very quickly so that when the pop up opens and i choose my crop, all the squares I had tapped are already planted.
But that often happens that I do not stop tapping fast enough and while the pop up store has opened, I tap on the right crop of the first page and of course, it is that one that gets planted.
Not much of a problem, since in this case, I just have to sell the plants, plow again and plant again, being more careful...

But now, that means that if it happens to me again, this is the gem crop that will be planted, and that is another story! I don't mind losing coins, but not those so hard earned gems!

I am not sure if I was clear in what I have tried to explain...

Yes. And I should have added that I have accidentally harvested most of my gem flowers. I harvested the ghost flowers and black roses on purpose because they were ugly and too small.

I just personally feel it's a waste of TLs time to come up with Gem crops. The few that actually plant them, only plant a few as there's no point to mastery to just get 2 gems and a gnome you could buy for 15 gems. It would cost way too much money to try to master gem crops.

Their time would be better spent on an animal that belongs on a Farm, like a Turkey, or crops with times we've actually asked for. But TL doesn't give a darn it seems as to what we WANT, so I guess we're just stuck with it.

I couldn't care less how pretty something is, I'll never plant a gem crop on purpose and take great precautions to make sure I don't do it accidently either.

I'm still obsessing on getting to level 60 for expansion and the new crop/tree has such a low yield, I'm not feeling the pain of waiting until Tuesday for it.

On the gem flowers, I too go to the store first to choose what to plant rather than clicking on the plowed square that takes me to the store. Too scared to fall into that gem trap.

When you're on the store, and tap on flowers, say you want to go page 3 or 4, you tap on the little arrow on the right on each page... if it lags and you are not patient enough to wait for the next page to come and tap too quickly on where the arrow should be on the following page, you happen to finally tap on the third crop of the current page, and that is the red rose :D

LMAO, mine changes weekly as to which game won't receive it. One week Farm doesn't, the next week Fashion doesn't, then the next week it's Farm again. This is 2 weeks in a row that I haven't received Farm and 2 weeks in a row I did receive Fashion. I usually get all the other upates on Thursday without an issue.

It looks like TL may have come to a decision and decided that Farm is going to be my permanent Tuesday update. Hopefully they'll always have stuff I won't care too much about if that's the case. hehehe

Anyway, it is disappointing that the items in the teasers are box items. Though I don't care for the butterfly tree (I think it was a really graet concept, but went overboard with the big yellow wings), I wouldn't mind trying it out for the other items; then again, I really don't care for a small puppy in a basket, or the flower scarecrow? No thanks. Not sure if I want to gamble it out.

I'm not sure how much these weekly/bi-weekly poll results weigh-in or factor with teamlava, but all everyone will ever say is hopefully we will see some of those long-awaited suggestions at least before the year ends. And hopefully Androids will see goals as well sometime this year.

However, there might be a forumusage rule that specifies that pictures posted on here become partly owned by TL, you'd have to check. Borderline illegal in some countries but I'm not sure about the US.
It's also an interesting question about pictures people take when visiting her farm. Since she's designed it - and paid for most of the items with her money - whose copyright is it?? ( :-) Can you guess that I work in the media?? :-P)

Also, I think we need to cut TL a little slack on this one. They did NOT use the photo marked "do not use." Sure they used a photo of the same farm, but I doubt they realized what they were doing. Whoever runs the blog probably just searches the forum on update day looking for photos to post without actually reading anything. But people, and I blame the US education system to some degree, think that any photo they find anywhere on the web is free game. I've had heated discussions with my daughters' elementary school teachers who encourage their students to go out to the web, lift photos or even words, and use them in the reports they need to turn in. Serious copyright infringement and plagiarism! being taught!! makes me see red and drives me absolutely bonkers. I tell my daughters to look through photostock sites and use credits to get her the pictures required for her school reports. Or if she's really wanting something she can't find there, to contact the owner first for permission.

No, The Red Chrysanthemums (gem flower) are on the first page - the one most likely to be accidentally planted. The equally new Pink Peonies (coin flower) are on the second page - much less likely to be accidentally planted.

They could very easily have put the Peonies on the first page and the Chrysanthemums on the second.

Alright, I'll correct myself. They didn't used to put the new crops at the start of the lists. This is a relatively recent development. However, ever since they started doing it, they have done it consistently. I'm pretty sure that everyone's favorite ugly and too small black roses were a first-page crop. Same with the even more popular ugly and too small ghost flowers.
