The app store update has to do with the actual game. Examples of which would be bug fixes, maybe even new features. Weekly updates are implemented into whatever versions are being supported at the time which currently would include the regular TL games also.

Granted, your question is about Farm Story, but if you have any other Valentine versions of TL games...I'd continue playing with that. Although TL no longer "supports" it, it has the most current bug fixes, etc etc.

****! The pond is a box items :( Guess I'm not getting it afterall. I'm not gambling away my gems, when I might not even get the pond. I would have gladly spent 24 gems on the pond had it been a normal Decoration item.
