Suggestions : Fireworks/Independence Day Theme

Hey guys jumping ahead to get some suggestions to the development team.
Suggest some new items for a Fireworks/Independence Day Theme.

Unique animals, gnomes, decorations crops and trees..

You can suggest your own items, or let me know if you like other members suggestions.
I will try and use the most popular items on the next poll.

If I had to suggest a tree... I would say a tree that gives little Liberty Bells, and don't forget the crack! :)

Well, there was a poll showing more than 50% of players are from North America. As Pinkster pointed out Canadian independence day is around the same time. And Mexico can get Cinco De Mayo.

Agree - this is US specific holiday but May Day seems to be world wide. Yup short time notice to the software team :-). But it could be celebrated in the same time as the independence day.

What, we barely get any Easterstuff but there's going to be an Independence Day update?? Can I have a large concrete wall with a hole in it for our German National Holiday? Derelict watchtowers and the Brandenburg Gate are optional.

Btw, quite a few players have Arabic messages on their walls. Personally, I'd skip that theme and go straight to more Spring stuff.

I heard a British comedian one time doing his stand up routine talking about how an American asked him if they celebrated Fourth of July in England. He was like "yeah, we go around kicking each other in the rear saying 'good job you tosser!'" As an American this makes me hang my head in shame a bit that so many of my fellow countryfolks are so blessed ignorant. :p

We need peas! Also pink flowers. Gladiolus come in so many colors. Would be nice if we had colors to choose from. How about a goat with a red white and blue vest on. Of course there are players from all over the world. Red white and blue might have no significance to them, nor July 4th. Every country does fireworks tho. How about a firecracker flower. Every 50th one that you plant explodes in many colors when they bloom..the rest are pretty but duds.

I'd like to see Black Cherry Trees, an Apple Pie Stand, a Lemonade Stand, red and white roses for coins, not gems, a red and white checkered picnic blanket set up similar to the Valentines Day one, a patio set with a checkered tablecloth, a bald eagle and a Beaver Dam that can act as an "end cap" for all the rivers we build out of blue hay bales. No multi colored animals please! Gnomes holding sparklers might be neat too.

On a side note, I have two other suggestions...1) we should be able to collect coins on wind turbines and solar panels as they are green energy sources and 2) please allow for us to double tap on something we accidentally tap for collection to deselect it. For example, when picking crops I accidentally select a flower or two that I use as decoration only and then I have to replant.

The US has the Fourth, and Canada Day is July 1 (and I really like the red maple). France's Bastille Day is July 14th (although I see more German and Dutch than French in my travels...). Surely there have to be other "national days" in July (plus or minus a month). We could declare July as "Global National Month"??

Or, we could morph the Fourth into a plain old summer thing. Picnics, fireworks, frisbees, c'mon farmers - pour on the ideas. Or here's an idea I don't remember seeing -- How About A FARMER to put on our farms? TL could charge gems for us to dress him/her up in all kinds of "national dress", or just plain high and/or low fashion.

Maple leaf table and chair for our Canadian friends ... red, white and blue (but not checkered) for those in the US. Maybe a red, white and blue swag, fire works wallpaper and flags. Flags can be put on walls or pole for bakery floor.

I had a suggestion for a maple tree a while back where it would start with all the llittle read blossoms then leaf out then turn red/orange/yellow and when ready to harvest all the leaves have fallen and a sap bucket is hanging on the trunk...but that is probably far to complicated for TL to have a theme item that actually has to do with agriculture aka farming this is farm story right.:p

Um, sorry to burst any bubbles, but polls only reflect the poll-takers who knew enough English to navigate this website. That's why I think it's in TL's best interest to keep it as non-nation-specific as possible. Fireworks are loved world-wide. You can't go wrong with those, or any plant/tree that resembles them, like weeping cherry or the like. The bachellor buttons suggested earlier would be great! Fireworks could easily be made into a buyable item like the rainbow released earlier.

After the last couple of updates, I feel suggestions are a waste of effort. TL just does not listen to it's customers. They do not care what we think. Updates can't get much farther away from the farm theme. That said, watch them come out with something way out there to prove they can go much further. It not such they are bad but it just does not fit into the farm theme, not even close.

I love the game. I will play with the parts I like and the rest are crud. I like most of the new crops, trees and maybe a few others items. New crops have too long a growing time. The last tree is far too costly to be a practical purchase.
