Design Bar Not Registering My Touch

When I click on the design button and it opens the small on the bottom that you have to click to open a box to buy decorum, tables, floors, etc. I have to click about 10 to 20 times to open the box. Its aggravating.

Its possible that your touch screen itself has some dead/dying spots. The keyboard on my old ipod starting having similar issues, the key presses weren't registering and I noticed that it was the same letters usually. How old is your device? Has it had a rough life with lots of drops or really heavy usage?

I had a few issues yesterday on my iphone with the catalog button freezing. I forced closed the game and reopened it , then I was fine.
