Picnic Basket Question

I was curious about the baskets, so I clicked on the picnic basket for 24 gems. Up pops a pink bird house. So, you can spend another 24 gems and see what else comes up? There's no choice ... sort of a roll of the dice? I saw McCaws in a cage and was hoping .... LOL

You get one item and you don't get to choose. You can get multiples of an item. I got a lot of tables with lemons. Some of the items in the picnic basket are nice. I really wanted the macaw cage. I never got it and I gave up.

These box items are random. They have a set number of different things inside them but you will only get 1 of those randomly each time you use the 24 gems.

That's what I found out. I had hoped for a particular item, but didn't want to spend what gems I had hoping to get it. Thank you, ButterPanda.
